Since 2024, Flashbaxx has been performing again as an electronic 
live act, showcasing his unique mash-ups of disco and house classics. His high-energy performances have already taken him to legendary clubs like the KitKat Club in Berlin. In June 2025 selected tracks from his live set will be released as “Gazelle” EP on the newly founded label Groovers Trax (Leipzig), fulfilling his longheld dream of creating an uncompromising house record with a disco twist. 

From 2016 to 2025, Stenger was part of the podcast Proseccolaune, where he further honed his comedic talent. Today, this is reflected in his own comedy and music content on social media, striking a balance between accessible entertainment and subcultural authenticity—earning him a steadily growing fanbase. 
Daniel Stenger lives in Aschaffenburg (DE), works in his studio where he produces music, podcasts, content and musical projects for the advertising industry.

That Girl (Short Version)

In late January this year, my stepfather was diagnosed with leukaemia without much warning. He was admitted to hospital and we found out he had the most aggressive form of the disease. He died just over two weeks after.

It was especially triggering for us as a family - we lost my father to cancer in 1999.
 
I had this beat on my hard-drive for a while - I’d considered just putting it out as an instrumental, but I could hear a vague melody in my head. As soon as Michael was admitted into hospital, words started coming to me to fill those melodies, and the song was written within days. I sent it to the choir to get properly recorded. In a ubiquitous twist of fate, they sent the finished track back to me when I was in hospital by Michael’s side, just a few hours before they switched off life support and we watched him take his final breaths.
 
I don't really like to speak publicly about the meaning of my music, I like everybody to take their own meaning from the songs I’m involved with - but ‘Forever’ is about the feelings and emotions you go through as a family when you find out a loved one is battling a serious condition. Watching my Mother’s unquestioned support. The hope we can make it through. The feeling of wanting to help, wanting to be there, but knowing that nothing you can do will make a difference. All you can do is be there, be present.

‘Forever’ is out today, and means a lot to me.

Originally released under his former producer name MUNK. It sounds fresher now than back then, when it was too much ahead of its time.

This track works on any dance floor. It brings this special new school Italo vibe to every party. Made by Kapote back then when he was producing indie dance.
In case you don't know: Kapote used to produce music under the name MUNK and run an indie dance label called GOMMA. Back in the late 2000s he was producing music with LCD Soundsystem, Peaches, WhoMadeWho, The Rammellzee and others.  Now, Toy Tonics re-releases the song in a new version. Since being discovered by the Mainz-based lounge label “Wohnton” in 2003, Flashbaxx’s jazz and funky beats have been featured on international compilations—including releases on Sony Music, EMI, and Ministry of Sound. His productions appear alongside artists such as Moby, Jazzanova, Blank & Jones, Die Fantastischen Vier and Bonobo and are regularly played by renowned DJs and tastemakers like Rainer Tru by (Compost, DE), Robert Luis (Tru Thoughts, UK), and Mark Farina (OM Records, US). 

His latest EP Take Care My Friend (NuNorthern Soul, UK / 2022) was enthusiastically received by the scene. For the remix EP (NuNorthern Soul, UK / 2023), he brought on board renowned producers such as Atjazz and Moods.
