Notorious for his driving and multilayered Sets as a regular at Lehmann Club, Emerson accumulated releases on labels like Analytic Trail,  Electric Deluxe & CLR. Part of the infamous CLR crew around Chris Liebing and founder of esteemed Micro.on imprint, he is a respected veteran of Germany’s techno scene, as well as a sought out act all around the world. Upcoming releases include „Niereich - Placebo Effect (DJ EMERSON rmx)“ out on micro.fon digital 05.12.2014 (vinyl already released).

The 100th guest mix milestone is here with the soundtrack provided by the highly respected Electric Indigo from Vienna. Releasing music from 1993 and seeing it land on DJ Hell's International Deejay Gigolos, to Kompakt, to Disko B. Having a few years living in Berlin and working at the legendary Hard Wax store, Susanne has been exposed to a wealth and unique depth of techno culture. In 1998, she founded a very important international database and network called "Female:Pressure" for female artists in electronic music and digital arts. Not only this, but she regularly lectures at educational institutions like the University of Music and Performing Arts in Austria. The mix is a wonderfully classy and well thought out masterpiece, from industrial harshness to deep and hypnotic layers. French Techno label Club Poison is a relatively new project by 14anger and already making a great impression.

The track we picked out by Commuter is called “Vegan Revenge” and forthcoming on their next various artists EP called “Cyanide.”

The track begins with a tame but tense groove signified by an increasing high pitched drone that keeps you on your toes. Quickly you are greeted with a whipping and lashing sound that resembles a lion being tamed. This, added to the low, bending, growls underneath is a perfect match. It wades forward into a suspenseful breakdown before really going crazy and launching into high octane mode with a nice splattering of a modular workout.

It’s already picked up a setlist feature from Samuli Kemppi and Juho Kusti of the brilliant Deep Space Helsinki Radio Show in Finland and should definitely be checked out.

Released Monday 8 June 2015.

This DT:Premiere is taken from the new EP by Manchester’s rising talent Callum Plant, who has been gaining strong support from Truncate and James Ruskin amongst others.

The title track “Synonym” really did it for us and it’s a fantastic all round collection that also features a remix by Monocline label boss Re:Axis.

Ill Bomb Records ran by Owen Sands and Justin Kase is a firm favourite here at DT, who now run things from Raleigh, North Carolina by way of New York, USA.
