Landing back on the firm next is Liverpudlian selector Friend Within, who returns with his second Toolroom release of the year, ‘Bring It Down’. 

Riding the on the hype from ‘Monkey Bars’, the old school, Dutch House styled monster that garnered vast support from Paul Woolford, Meg Ward, LF System, John Summit, Dom Dolla, MK, Malaa and many more. A certified secret weapon of the summer, ‘Monkey Bars’ received heavy rotation on both national and international radio stations, especially from BBC Radio 1 heads Pete Tong, Sarah Story, Arielle Free and Danny Howard becoming a staple sound of 2022.

So, what comes next? Friend Within has the answer of course, with another killer slice of Hard House meets UK G that is ‘Bring It Down’. Every now and then a collaboration comes along for Toolroom that makes total sense, and this is one of them! Flashmob, a stalwart of the house music scene for best part of 3 decades joins forces with tech house German duo, Raumakustik for the very first time. Both have a deep history with Toolroom over the years, Flashmob’s last Toolroom single ‘My Body’ saw DJ’s like Fisher, Claptone and Meduza all providing heavy DJ support. Whilst Raumakustik boast a similar synergy with the label and have become a real trusted production outfit that straddle that fine-line between house and techno perfectly every time.

The record is a super fun house track! Fusing both artists styles with some tribal vocals thrown in for good measure, this is a sure fire dance floor heater!
