Every now and then a collaboration comes along for Toolroom that makes total sense, and this is one of them! Flashmob, a stalwart of the house music scene for best part of 3 decades joins forces with tech house German duo, Raumakustik for the very first time. Both have a deep history with Toolroom over the years, Flashmob’s last Toolroom single ‘My Body’ saw DJ’s like Fisher, Claptone and Meduza all providing heavy DJ support. Whilst Raumakustik boast a similar synergy with the label and have become a real trusted production outfit that straddle that fine-line between house and techno perfectly every time.

The record is a super fun house track! Fusing both artists styles with some tribal vocals thrown in for good measure, this is a sure fire dance floor heater!

Following releases on Younion, FM X and a regular contributor to the Kompakt catalogue, Terranova broadens his reach with new material on Flashmob LTD. He’s become known for delivering tracks with a deep, percussive motif and he showcases his distinct sound with the new material.  
 
Providing a stark contrast from the organic textures of the original, Flashmob flips ‘Compute’ with amped energy and whimsical, edgy textures. It’s a remix that’s primed to create a lasting, memorable moment on the dancefloor, as this track won’t soon leave your memory with it’s intrusive nature.

We welcome Italian star Flashmob to remix label founders M.A.N.D.Y’s classic ‘Jah’ track, while a 2018 remaster is also included.

Flashmob runs his own self-titled label and brings real invention and big room appeal to house and techno. He has also released on Defected, Hot Creations and Snatch! as well as Get Physical before now and is a regular at the world’s biggest parties.

The excellent ‘Jah’ was a huge hit for MANDY in 2005 and now he reworks it into a dazzling piece of tech house. It’s intense, with an epic breakdown featuring spoken word snippets, busy snares and laser like synths that make it feel like an intergalactic battle. It’s a brilliant ‘hands in the air’ tune that’s designed to blow up the floor.

The 2018 Remaster cleans up the track and makes the drums pop even more. It has a dark intention and lots of spooky synths that make for a haunting atmosphere that is as compelling now as it was the day it was released more than a decade ago.
