The Berlin based duo Flat Maze embodies the essence of the concept of Techno-Jazz. Their mix between the instrumental solos of jazz piano talent Uri Gincel and the deep techno grooves of producer Stefano Mori, results in an innovative signature sound which perfectly fits the artistic manifesto of label Jazz-o-Tech.

The Berlin-based project Flat Maze embodies the essence of the concept of Techno-Jazz. Their mix between the instrumental jazz solos with techno grooves and deep synths, results in an innovative sound. It aligns perfectly with the artistic manifesto of the Jazz-o-Tech label. The name Flat Maze comes from the fusion of two significant Berlin clubs: the ,B Flat" jazz club in Mitte and„Maze", an underground techno club in Kreuzberg. Stefano Mori, founder, producer, and live electronics act performer of the Flat Maze project, has long been active in the Berlin electronic music scene, with dj collectives like Mechatronica and Drei Groschen Disko. In the Flat Maze project, he collaborates with some of the most sought-after jazz musicians in the Berlin jazz-scene, such as Uri Gincel. Being the main live jazz musician of the project, Uri is also a composer alongside Stefano for Flat Maze's tracks. On Flat Maze's stage, musicians of the caliber of saxophonist Ori Jacobson, Sebastian Studnitzky and John-Dennis Renken can be seen. Flat Maze's performed it's unique sound at major festivals dedicated to the fusion of jazz with electronic music such as XJAZZ Berlin, Jazz:REfound in Turin, Jazz by the Sea in Fano, JazzMI in Milan; and in clubs both in Berlin and Milan, including sold-out performances at Kantine am Berghain, Suicide Circus, Sage Beach in Berlin Smolna in Warsaw and Bachelite Clab and Biko in Milan.
