"While putting the mix together I had an early morning slot in mind, taking over the decks to accompany the crowd after an already long night out - A situation which I miss like nothing else for more than a year now. As I am kept my daily routine finding new tracks, I have mixed my current favorite pieces of music out of my collection and tried to build a journey that will hopefully take place in reality again very soon. I recommend listening to the mix in one take! Thanks for having me and greetings from Cologne!"

Hailing from Bonn, Germany - Jonathan Kaspar is an integral part of the scene in Cologne. He is a resident at the city's renowned Gewölbe club and also one of the current main figures at the legendary Kompakt label. While Kaspar is constantly reinventing himself, he continues what he loves the most - being a DJ and producer!

Kaspar loves to play extra-long DJ sets building up a journey together with the crowd. Holding a residency at one of Germany's main spots in regards to underground electronic music clubs, Gewölbe, he regularly invites national and international guests to play extended nights with him while his busy DJ schedule has been built around that. 2021 started off with his much-acclaimed follow-up EP for Kompakt, including the track "Beton" which reached #1 in the Beatport Indie Dance chart for several weeks.

There is so much to say about Stereo in Montreal. But I guess in order to really understand this club that opens at 2 am, serves no alcohol and closes at some point next day, you have to go and experience it, especially that incredible custom made sound system. This place is all about sound and dance. This is the recording of a night in February 2018, where I played kind of a 6h set, so expect the next 6 shows to be all about Stereo... I cannot wait to be back… hope you enjoy the show.

BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL have a very special guest mix in store for 6AM, seamlessly mixing multiple genres into one high-energy hour of music.

The duo are a force of nature squared, combining their taste for raw and rousing music in the fields of acid, techno, house, electro, and more. They channel this alongside influence from their respective Curacaoan and Israeli heritage, crafting tracks and sets that are packed full of potent sounds and able to keep dancefloors enthralled while veering in unexpected directions. Together, they are a couple living in Amsterdam and have emerged as a force to be reckoned with. Their knack for crafting craggy acid and jackin’ techno is only outmatched by the palpable collaborative energy they bring to their DJ sets.

Despite the global disruption of 2020, Black Girl / White Girl continued their incredibly forceful run of form, gained support from across the techno community, and quickly established their strong reputation. They remain busy on the output front in 2021 with new music arriving on Symbolism, Warehouse Music, EI8HT, and Balkan Vinyl, and installments of the monthly OPERATOR mix series dropping to keep fans dancing at home.

On the vibe BLACK GIRL / WHITE GIRL were trying to achieve with this mix: "This is the set we’d play while the sun was setting right behind a dark and steamy Pride festival tent packed with 100% VAXXED techno, acid house, and breakbeat aficionados. We got laser beams blazing all over the crowd, steam hissing from the ceiling, sweat dripping from the jacking bodies, all of that. Each track amplifies the sensual energy, keeping the vibes fierce throughout the 60 minutes set.
