This set is only early renders from works in progress that were lost in a fatal hard disk crash.  There are no terrible noises coming from the disk drive, so I'm still hopeful.  Sometimes it is visible when I boot the computer (in which case it fails to fix disk errors before crashing), other times I'm told I have no hard drive.  I presume it is a controller issue, so maybe I'll get these projects back if I find a cheap controller for my hard drive.

Update:
Turns out the mobo had an overheating northbridge.  Frickin' HP and their poor quality partners.  I don't want to finish these songs even after replacing the mobo.  Remixable at best.
