I always had this noise in my ears/ this constant noise/ it didn't get on my nerves/ but it made me tired  and motionless

and in one of the darkest moments of my life/ I read this beautiful poem/ and I felt heard like I haven't felt in a long time/ I was relieved

I am still growing
/and I am still imperfect

it feels hard to share//
because it's about helplessness  

on the other hand it also reminds me of the freedom 
when I came out of all this

well, the most it reminds me of hope
and of being and feeling myself

we think we are lost
while our fuller
found and complete selves
are somewhere in the future
we get on our hands and knees
thinking self-improvement will
help us reach them
but this finding ourselves bullshit
is never going to end
I'm tired of putting off living until
I have more information on who I am
I'm a new person every month
always becoming and unbecoming
only to become again
our fuller selves are not off in the future
they're right here
in the only moment that exists
I don't need fixing
I will be searching for answers my whole life
not because I'm a half-formed thing
but because I'm brilliant enough to keep growing
everything necessary to live a vivid life
already exists in me

There is nothing more to say than to quote this great mastermind himself: „music makes me cry“, „everything must change“, „peace and love“, „don’t stop ’til you get enough“… this is a Tribute To Quincy Jones and music he composed or produced. Enjoy one hour of his great work out of the 60s, 70s and 80s. There is so much more to experience through his life work and one hour is luckily not enough for all the incredible music.
