Who are Digital Niyabinghi?

Digital Niyabinghi is an outfit of Jungle Dub selectors and producers. ‘Niyabinghi’ is the heartbeat of all music, old and new, and we fully embrace the spirit of Niyabinghi within our music genre - 'Jungle Dub'.  As we live in the era of modern technology, we feel that the name 'Digtial Niyabinghi' emphasizes the fact that we are keeping the spirit of ‘Niyabinghi’ and the culture of Reggae music alive in the digital era and also as a way for us to remember and pay tribute to our musical ancestors.


What is Jungle Dub?

Jungle Dub is sound system music. Conscious roots dub melodies, heavy weight bass lines and subs mixed with Jungle breaks and steppers. We are not selling out. Our music is for the people, black, white, yellow, or brown. 


Digital Niyabinghi Sound system

We have our very own sound system comprising of 16 scoop bins, 16 upper bass bins, 8 mid/high cabs powered by powersoft/electro voice. You don’t just hear Digital Niyabinghi you feel it.

Taken from Origin One's recent "Deeply Rooted" album, "Nice & Easy" is a bouncing and bubbling hip hop infused reggae banger, perfectly crafted for summer and soundsystems in fields. Bristol's rising star Gardna supplies the chat, whilst Congo Natty cohort Nanci Correia drops the silky smooth chorus atop the shuffling skanking riddim, complementing each other perfectly.

On remix duties comes Mr Benn who flips the beat for a stripped back throwback dancehall affair, giving nods to a 90s classic, whilst Numa Crew's T-Kay turns up the energy for a massive drum and bass monster for the ravers. Nice and Easy!

Jet setting Rub-a-Dub-Junglist FLeCK is a producer and DJ whose name’s on everybody’s lips when it comes to fresh Jungle bangers, wobbling 140 workouts and bringing warmth to a room full of happy, dancing people.

FLeCK is an electronic music producer and DJ, signed on Dread Recordings and Serial Killaz Recordings. Born in Athens, Greece, he started his musical journey in the mid 90’s and today his sound has spread worldwide.

FLeCK’s music is characterized by a Roots Reggae Dub vibe mixed with futuristic Jungle breaks and fat bass sounds. It has found its way into the record boxes of the likes of Public Enemy’s DJ Lord, Rusko and many other big names in the game around the world such as Congo Natty, Jumping Jack Frost, Kenny Ken, Ray Keith, 2 Bad Mice, Altern8, Nicky Blackmarket, as well featuring on Diplo’s Mad Decent blog and receiving massive worldwide radio support from London’s legendary Kool FM to BBC 1Xtra.

He has collaborated ,written and remixed tunes for artists like Zion Train, Mungo’s HiFi, Ray Keith, Congo Natty, Chopstick Dubplate, Aries, JStar, Soom T, Dj Solo, Dub Pistols, Taiwan MC, Earl 16 and many others. 

His music has been released on prestigious record labels around the world such as Scotch Bonnet, Jungle Cakes, Born On Road, Serial Killaz, Dread Recordings, Congo Natty Bass, ODG, Liondub International, Nice Up! and Universal Egg to name a few.

In recent years he has travelled the world playing clubs and big festivals (Outlook, Boomtown, Glastonbury, Seasplash, Overjam, Wee Dub, Incubate, Drop Beats Not Bombs, Let it Roll, Eden) regularly passing through Austria, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia, Finland, Croatia, Poland, Portugal, Germany and Greece. 

He has shared stages with Horace Andy, Alborosie, Congo Natty, Zion Train, Dub Pistols, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Aba Shanti-I, Stand High Patrol, Prince Fatty and many, many others and the clear message this sends out is that FLeCK’s love for sound system music is embraced the world over!

In 2015, 2016 and 2017 he was nominated as Best Breakthrough Producer and Best Breakthrough DJ at the We Love Jungle Awards.
