The dubwise Junglist, soundclash DJ and Caribbean Bass music producer delivers a fast-forward of Dub and Jungle to the 23rd century with cavernous bass to tear down Babylon. Operating at the top level of Future Dancehall, Modern Jungle and Drum and Bass for over 15 years, Jamie Bostron (Totally Dubwise Recordings, Electrikal Sound System) flies the flag for dubby Jungle on this remix. Echoes, vox-snips and deep subs in combination with a mental Reggae feel and a rolling bassline reminding of the deeper side of classic Aphrodite are the ingredients of this outstanding stepper. Punchy drums and precision crafted drum work complete the sure-fire sub rattler.

Jamie Bostron is a bass rocking renegade and one of the true champions of Jungle music. Born in Ireland and ruling in the heavily Dub-Reggae und Jungle influenced Drum and Bass sound of Scotland, J Bostron has smashed floor all over the UK and Europe. Being known for blending Roots, Dub and Dancehall effortlessly with a variety of Bass music genres and turntablism, Jamie Bostron gets support from Radio1 and the international festival circuit as well.

The Jinx & Gigante EP is a collection of tracks we have made over the last few years. unfortunately, Gigantes health has become very bad and he spends most of his days in hospital. We are hoping to sell our music to make some money to help him out with the care & support he needs,as right now the NHS service is on its knees and support is very limited.

Since South Yard started as a music label in 2015, we have come a long way. We have edited music from more than 50 artists and have opened ourselves to different genres of Drum & Bass than we had in mind at the beginning of this project. That’s why we’re excited to present you with this compilation that brings together the best of what represented us in our early days, jungle and dubwize. Those were the days!

We remember when we started, everything was new and exciting. We didn’t know what the future held, but we were eager to find out. And here we are, years later, with a playlist that represents the best of our early days. There are songs from then and now, but we will always remember with fondness the jungle and dubwize, which opened the doors to the world for us.
It’s amazing how time flies, isn’t it?

The Celebration of Life crew is back for its second release in support of betterment practices through positive mind-state awareness. 

The song is titled 'Think Positive', which is dedicated to Baby Love 'Jaden, the son of Charlene Mulhern. Jaden is featured in the beginning of the Celebration of Life video with his sister Taya (Gucci). The tune became an instant classic, since its live debut last year at the Ministry of Sound performance - hosted for the Jungle Fever party, though no one has had the opportunity until now to play it out.

Jet setting Rub-a-Dub-Junglist FLeCK is a producer and DJ whose name’s on everybody’s lips when it comes to fresh Jungle bangers, wobbling 140 workouts and bringing warmth to a room full of happy, dancing people.

FLeCK is an electronic music producer and DJ, signed on Dread Recordings and Serial Killaz Recordings. Born in Athens, Greece, he started his musical journey in the mid 90’s and today his sound has spread worldwide.

FLeCK’s music is characterized by a Roots Reggae Dub vibe mixed with futuristic Jungle breaks and fat bass sounds. It has found its way into the record boxes of the likes of Public Enemy’s DJ Lord, Rusko and many other big names in the game around the world such as Congo Natty, Jumping Jack Frost, Kenny Ken, Ray Keith, 2 Bad Mice, Altern8, Nicky Blackmarket, as well featuring on Diplo’s Mad Decent blog and receiving massive worldwide radio support from London’s legendary Kool FM to BBC 1Xtra.

He has collaborated ,written and remixed tunes for artists like Zion Train, Mungo’s HiFi, Ray Keith, Congo Natty, Chopstick Dubplate, Aries, JStar, Soom T, Dj Solo, Dub Pistols, Taiwan MC, Earl 16 and many others. 

His music has been released on prestigious record labels around the world such as Scotch Bonnet, Jungle Cakes, Born On Road, Serial Killaz, Dread Recordings, Congo Natty Bass, ODG, Liondub International, Nice Up! and Universal Egg to name a few.

In recent years he has travelled the world playing clubs and big festivals (Outlook, Boomtown, Glastonbury, Seasplash, Overjam, Wee Dub, Incubate, Drop Beats Not Bombs, Let it Roll, Eden) regularly passing through Austria, UK, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia, Finland, Croatia, Poland, Portugal, Germany and Greece. 

He has shared stages with Horace Andy, Alborosie, Congo Natty, Zion Train, Dub Pistols, Mungo’s Hi Fi, Aba Shanti-I, Stand High Patrol, Prince Fatty and many, many others and the clear message this sends out is that FLeCK’s love for sound system music is embraced the world over!

In 2015, 2016 and 2017 he was nominated as Best Breakthrough Producer and Best Breakthrough DJ at the We Love Jungle Awards.
