About the location:
Wilhelmstein is an artificial island in lake Steinhuder Meer with an area of 12,500 square meters, located in the Hanover Region, Northern Germany.
The island was created in the 18th century as a fortification by Count William of Schaumburg-Lippe, ruler of this small German state. Since then the island hosts the Festung Wilhelmstein, the Wilhelmstein Fortress.

"Last year a big dream came true! When I was invited to play at Burning Man on the iconic Mayan Warrior Stage I couldn’t believe it. I was really nervous on the way to the playa but once I started playing and saw all these lovely people dancing and enjoying my music all the weight fell off. It was the most special and magical gig I ever played and I want to thank the whole community and everybody at the Mayan Warrior camp for making this happen. An ambient sitar journey painted on the backdrop of a dub inspired mix - warm, full of bass and resting on a slow, soulful groove. Blending classical Indian sitar with a down-tempo one-drop, this track was inspired by time spent in New Zealand and by a continuing study of classical sitar. It features the incredible Ed Hanley on tabla.
