Lantieri's original mix; a hair-raising slalom through a steep, yet breathtakingly beautiful forest ravine that'll have your adrenaline pumping as hard as the bass that shakes the earth beneath you, challenging your pursuit of the shrilling, archaic arpeggio racing alongside that's bound for level ground.
 
Manu Riga's remix: a serene and spacious walk away from the chaos, with a euphonious, multiple-layered synth melody warming the air, and gently softening the gutsy lead arpeggio cleverly spilling over from Lantieri's lead mix.
 
Ornery's edit: a subtly building cloud of contemplation that drifts closer by the second, as it prepares to release a wondrous, techno gift from the gods to fill the rivers wide, never again will they dry, hail our beloved salvation about to pour from the sky.

Ce Soir: From Whispers to Waves (Lorna James, Jan Johnston, JP Lantieri)


In 2024, Lorna James unveiled her original track "Ce Soir," which garnered early acclaim from DJ Mag France and EDM House Network. This captivating piece is a liquid drum & bass ballad, elegantly built around Lorna's primary instrument, the piano, and layered with ethereal background vocals and intriguing whispers.

Building on this foundation, Lorna James enlisted the exceptional talent of Jan Johnston to craft a melody, write lyrics, and perform vocals for "Ce Soir." Johnston boasts an illustrious career, lending her songwriting and vocal prowess to iconic collaborations with artists such as BT, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, and Cosmic Gate. Her lyrical and vocal contribution to "Ce Soir" is undeniably distinctive.

The collaborative journey continued when Lorna James and JP Lantieri connected during a Zoom listening session hosted by the California-based music portal, Electrofans. Their virtual encounter sparked a connection that led to an in-person meeting at the renowned Amsterdam Dance Event conference.

Subsequently, JP Lantieri masterfully reimagined the elements created by Lorna and Jan – the delicate piano melodies, the evocative vocal stems, the subtle whispers, and Jan's unforgettable voice – weaving them into his signature progressive house sound through a compelling remix.

From the days of old, we've grown wise and bold, and we'll live to tell a Flemcy story that'll remain forever told as we chase the volcanic sounds of JP Lantieri, Aaron Suiss, Galestian, and Zy Khan as they erupt cataclysmically from an ancient crater and blitz mercilessly across the baron, frosted landscape in the age of 'Thirty Something' - the second chapter of our 'decades' trilogy, heading straight for our only means of escaping this cold, deserted world.

Flemcy president JP Lantieri's lead mix consumes hectare after hectare to a rampant, psy-trance inspired rhythm filled with blazing, ice-splitting synths, bubbling breaks, broiling atmospheres, and builds powerful enough to pulverise the nearest planet, and the planet after that. This is Lantieri at his very best.

Under the charcoal clouds commanding the skies, we struggle to breathe, ashes blinding our eyes from the deeply hypnotic, and densely layered 'Thirty Something' reconstruction by superb, American dj/producer and globetrotter Aaron Suiss, that merges flawlessly with the horizon like time crossing with our uncertain future.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a destructive torrent of titanic, peak-hour progressive fire balls ignited by Galestian's storming take on Lantieri's original mix begins to rain down sporadically from the blackened heavens and pummel into the frozen-solid lake we must get across if we want to live. With time having never before been more of the essence, we follow the hollow, holy chant guiding us assuredly out of the glacial death trap.

Clinging to our hope we push hard to reach a clearing, and our efforts are rewarded with Zy Khan's invigorating 'Thirty Something' revival. Restoring our vision, purifying our lungs, and replenishing our strength, this miracle concoction of comforting strings, beautiful breakbeat builds, and emotional, folk-inspired vocals is the perfect progressive rejuvenation as we find our way back to base, before heading full throttle towards the distant stars, homeward bound with our heroic tale of these events which came to pass.

When faced with a flood of seemingly impossible, time-sensitive challenges it is re-markable what we able to endure. And when electronic music, like the explosive contents of 'Thirty Something', is exposed to our absorbent senses, time can seem to stop as our imaginations drift into vivid, dramatic worlds. Now we rest, feeling musically blessed, let us now close the door to the ten years before and prepare for what lessons the next decade has in store...

With his first release since his debut professional tour in Europe, Flemcy Music proudly presents Not Demure's emotive 'Ostinato EP'.  A touching homage to his late father's life journey and six months in the making, this EP delivers depth on many levels with intensely rich remixes by Morttagua, Ornery and JP Lantieri.

We begin with 'Ostinato'. Not Demure's original mix beats like a loving heart, pul-sating effortlessly with a life-like energy offering progressive warmth and extreme aural comfort.

Next is 'Overture', a multi-dimensional, prog-tech journey surrounded by relent-less ricochets of intensity. This original mix by Not Demure harbours something very sinister yet is so, so sweet.

In his unique and atmospheric style, Morttagua cleverly takes 'Ostinato' to a much darker place whilst still allowing its beautiful core to shine. This rework spreads its audio waves like a virus that brings so much pleasure it needs no cure. 
   
Now it's JP Lantieri's turn as he accelerates us towards raging waters with his electrifying 'Overture' adaptation. This powerful, melodic, progressive ride will leave you completely breathless. 

Finally, as this incredible story comes to an end, Flemcy's long time partner Or-nery pours new life into the loving heart of 'Ostinato' once more. The essence of Not Demure's original mix is elegantly captured in this delicate, meditative es-cape.
