Honestly, I couldn't be more sincere in offering any and all credit back to Disney, and the team who created this film. I had not been so deeply impacted by a Disney film until Moana was released. There are so many deep esoteric themes at work here and this is my own interpretation of some of the energy I felt during this work of art. 

An Innocent Warrior

After six different earlier edits I finally settled on a few heavier bass patches that I think fit way better. even listening to it myself sort of felt like getting punched in the head. I love it. the song, no getting punched in the face.

Master Thyself

This was personal. I wrote this song for someone. It took many failures, a lot of inward reflection, and several rounds of trial, and error. Yet even now I am not very confident that I really captured exactly what I intended.

I wanted to paint a picture of what it feels like to try so hard to make the right choices when you're on the edge of losing something so monumental, and special, and you're afraid.

I wanted it to reflect the feelings you have when  you want nothing more than to go back to a more simple time from the past, where creating such powerful love was easy, and creating that unbreakable connection was effortless.

 I revised this song countless times as I learned how to better illustrate more dramatic, powerful emotion through music. But honestly, I'm sure I will come back to this song many, many more times as I learn even better ways to tell that story. 

I hope you're at least able to somewhat piece together what I was trying to get at, but above that, I hope that you're able to enjoy it regardless of what message I was trying to send.

Just a Reminder

Remix of a Stoutty track. When i first heard it i was hearing all sorts of different ideas, this is the first time i was really able to get them out of my head properly. it just adds more of the vibe i personally feel when i "miss" something. its rarely, if ever a fun time missing something or someone, so there obviously has to be some darkness to it.
