"Like Giannis" is a tribute song for Milwaukee Bucks' basketball superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo. I have been a life-long fan of the Milwaukee Bucks, and Giannis Antetokounmpo is my favorite player. 

When he was drafted 15th overall in the 2013 draft, I watched his highlights from playing in Greece, and I saw his tremendous potential as a player. I told my Dad that season that I thought Giannis would be a top 10 player within 4 years. By 2017, he easily was a top 10 player, and now in 2019 he deservedly won MVP. Giannis should inspire us all with his story, his humbleness, and his legendary work ethic - the #GiannisMentality. 

The Bucks fought hard all year, finishing with the top record in the NBA and a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals in the playoffs. This song is a tribute to not only Giannis, but the entire Milwaukee Bucks organization, including his teammates, the coaching staff (congratulations on Coach of the Year, Mike Budenholzer!), the training staff, the scouting department, basketball operations (congratulations on Executive of the Year, Jon Horst!), and the fans. 

I wrote this song during the Bucks' playoff run - while it didn't end as we all hoped, I suggest the rest of the NBA should watch out for the rise of Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. Go Bucks!
