Questo album nasce come un tributo alla memoria di mio padre, Sandro Caponnetto, autore della maggior parte delle poesie che hanno dato vita a questo progetto. Ho voluto dedicare quest'opera alla sua memoria attraverso un lavoro profondamente introspettivo, trasformando le sue parole in un'esperienza musicale che unisce le nostre anime artistiche.

Il viaggio musicale che ha portato a "Pensieri Disgiunti" affonda le radici nella mia esperienza tra Londra, dove ho studiato musica, e il Delta del Mississippi, dove mi sono recato per riscoprire le autentiche radici del blues. Queste influenze si intrecciano con la tradizione del cantautorato italiano, genere tanto amato da mio padre quanto da me, creando un ponte sonoro tra generazioni e culture musicali diverse.

L'album rappresenta un dialogo postumo tra padre e figlio, dove le parole paterne trovano nuova vita attraverso melodie che raccontano il nostro legame. Due brani in particolare, "Eco di un Viaggio" e "Medita", li ho scritti io stesso in sua memoria. "Medita" racconta l'ultima settimana passata al suo fianco e le notti vegliandolo, un'esperienza intima e dolorosa trasformata in un tributo musicale che conserva quei momenti preziosi e difficili.

L'intelligenza artificiale è stata una preziosa alleata in questo processo creativo, aiutandomi a trasformare il dolore della perdita in un atto di celebrazione e memoria.

"Pensieri Disgiunti" non è solo una raccolta di canzoni, ma un lascito emotivo che preserva l'eredità poetica di mio padre. Ogni brano è un capitolo di questa conversazione intergenerazionale che sfida il tempo, permettendo alle sue parole di continuare a vivere e a toccare nuovi ascoltatori.

In questo progetto, la chitarra blues si fonde con atmosfere evocative che richiamano tanto i club londinesi quanto i paesaggi del Mississippi, creando un tessuto sonoro che abbraccia e valorizza la profondità dei testi poetici. Il risultato è un'opera che celebra la bellezza della connessione umana attraverso l'arte, trasformando l'assenza in presenza attraverso il potere della musica.
