Late Night Dub

This is the piece I made for my master's thesis in Electronic Music and Recording Media at Mills College in Oakland, California.  It was recorded at the annual Signal Flow concert on March 10, 2016. 

This is my version of horror film music. Consisting of five movements, the piece follows a similar arc to that of a film; evoking feelings of dread, foreboding, tension and release.

A Mind Consumed by Dread

This is my own re-imagining of La Monte Young's masterpiece, The Well-Tuned Piano. This piece was performed at Mills College in the spring of 2016 for Chris Brown's seminar in just intonation. All sounds were generated using Supercollider code, following the same chords used in The Well-Tuned Piano. I would like to release a longer version, possibly upwards of an hour in length.

The Well-Tuned Oscillator

This piece was recorded at Mills College in the spring of 2016 for Maggi Payne's Advanced Recording class. The piece is based around a just 7/4 ratio, beginning and ending with an electronic drone, with multiple layers added, including bass, piano, guitar, and various percussion instruments. It was recorded to 2" tape.
