About
When Sarah was a girl her father took her on tour with his surf-rock band. She grew up hanging out in backstages of clubs and venues all around Europe. Not only through this first touring experience Sarah was always surrounded by music. She learned saxophone and piano supported by her grandmother who is music teacher and a trainer for classical singing. All her youth Sarah played in bands and was part of several jazz projects. Also her passion for electronic dance music developed at this time.

Sarah was born and raised in Jena, a former east-German city who became popular for its delicate scene of electronic music. She quickly became part of it as a dancer and also started her first professional projects as a saxophone player for Djs. Through her strong passion for electronic dance music she moved to Berlin. In 2016 she started her Solo Project “Sarah Wild” and became very quickly a sought - after artist with frequent shows at some of the most important festivals in Germany, the Netherlands and Poland like Fusion Festival, Garbicz Festival, Into The Woods Festival and many others. She is regularly playing in some of the most famous clubs in Berlin: Watergate, Kater Blau, Sisyphos and Renate

Once an infamous host for underground raves in Berlin, Sarah Wild is now a DJ and producer talent from Berlin. Her energetic sets oscillate between acid basslines and piano elements. Sarah has already released on Permanent Vacations, Feines Tier and her own label Midnight Operators.

The power is the drive of the spirit, energy and knowledge the fuel. Power that has the capacity to generate and evolve. Power that comes from the remotest areas and moves the spirit beyond all battle and all challenge. Warriors find their answer in the spear and sword, and poets in letters and metaphors. Men from the south of Agharo imagined a being sitting on a golden throne with a hundred voices shouting words of encouragement to the people who lay convalescing. The m a n - k i n g  came down from the pulpit and
overshadowing the hubbub said, with the same blending power of dreams, "I come from far away lands and from those countries bring my message. No powerful spirit shall perish. We, the powerful of spirit, the people of power, will not cease, not in peaceful times nor while the horrid storms of the End lay”. Power isn’t  held in direct reference to strength; power transcends the physical.

What was the thinking behind this mix?
Constant touring combined with family life requires an unlimited source of energy. This is only possible through conscious letting go and lots of support. This mix is intended to be a soft pillow that gives you a short moment of peace in the fast pace of life. This calm creates the power that you need to keep going - Sarah Wild

In welchen musikalischen Stilrichtungen siehst du dich?
Ich mag es stilistisch zu variieren. Sozusagen wie ein musikalisches Chamäleon. Ich mag die langsamen & treibenden Töne von Downtempo,freshe & energiegeladene Beats wie Progressive House oder Indie Dance. Es soll allen ein lächeln ins Gesicht zaubern. 
Egal ob funky & fluffiger Discosound oder bounciger Techno. 
ich möchte jedes Set der Party anpassen und es abwechslungsreich und zugleich aufregend gestalten aber auch zeitgleich eine musikalische & sphärische Geschichte erzählen die den Moment der Party wiederspiegelt.

Wie bist du zu deinem DJ-Namen gekommen?
2020 gründete ich mit einer Freundin „das dynamische duo“ während wir zusammen Indie Dance & House spielten, habe ich schnell festgestellt, dass mich noch mehr Genres interessieren, die meiner Duopartnerin garnicht zusagten. Schnell war klar, dass ich auch alleine spielen werde. Kurze Zeit nach dieser Entscheidungspielte mein Kumpel Simon im kronik im Eli ein Closing vom anderen Stern. Überragend! Ich wusste sofort: Mit ihm muss ich unbedingt mal spielen, was wir dann auch alsbald umgesetzt haben. Es flowte & ich spielte 7h am Stück mein erstes Techno Set b2b..
Aus dem Nichts fragte Simon nach meinem DJ Namen. Ich dachte erst so felsenfest an: La Dolce Dori
Daraufhin Simon: das klingt eher nach Pornodarstellerin aber nicht nach Techno. 
Tja, vielleicht nicht unbedingt Pornodarstellerin aber schon zu nett für Techno, was ich mir in dem Moment schon eingestehen durfte. 
Doch dann war ich mit dem nächsten Übergang dran & 
hatte erstmal keine Zeit mir weitere Gedanken über den zukünftigen Namen zu machen. Währenddessen lief Simon durch seine Wohnung & kam einen Übergang später zu mir & meinte:
DORI, was hälst du von RIOD ?
Ich erstmal so häääää? RIOD?
Darauf Simon:klar DORI nur sind die Buchstaben umgedreht! Was für ein Genie! Der Name ist genial und seit diesem Moment 
für mich nicht mehr wegzudenken. 

Wo willst du unbedingt mal spielen?
Festivals: 3000Grad & auf der Wilden Möhre
Clubs: im Sisyphos & nur zu gerne noch mal im Kater Blau 
In einer Bucht, das stell ich mir wunderschön vor.

Hast du ein absolutes Lieblingsset?

Welche Artists haben dich inspiriert oder inspirieren dich noch immer?
Seit Kindestagen inspirieren mich: Anne Clark, snap!, Depeche Mode und dann kamen da definitiv noch: esther silex, mimi love, martha van straaten, Lotte ahoi, dave dinger, sarah wild & wirklich noch so viele mehr dazu.  

Gibt es bestimmte Rituale oder Gewohnheiten, die du vor einem Auftritt hast, um dich vorzubereiten?
Ja, da ich vor jedem Gig immer ziemlich aufgeregt bin brauch ich definitiv erstmal ne Atemübungen & 3-4 Tropfen meines Orangenöls, was mich immer kurz auf’n spanischen Orangenhain mit herrlichem Sonnenschein versetzt und dann weiß ich mit Sonnenschein im Herzen kann ich beruhigt an die Decks gehen.

White Dew: 
Wild Geese Arrive, Swallows Return, Birds Stockpile Food.

When the pulse of the Earth meets the ancient rhythms of the solar term, we present this ode to the land, interpreting the primal ritual of time’s cycle. This EP blends the natural cadence of White Dew into the vibrant rhythms of Organic Afro House, weaving together tribal drums, savannah winds, and the migratory paths of birds into a timeless resonance.

[Original Mix: A primal declaration of time’s flow]
Ancient, powerful drums echo like distant thunder, heralding the return of migratory birds. Synthesizers trace a vast skyline, as if the first flock of wild geese cuts through the heavens, bringing the first breath of seasonal change. 

[Max TenRom Remix: The social pulse of time]
The rhythm grows denser and more celebratory, like a grand gathering of birds returning to nest. Traditional African percussion intertwines with ancient Eastern chants and a dancing, leaping violin, summoning the energy of tribal dance: a tribute to the instinct of return and unity. 

[SAMCHE Remix: The sedimentation and gift of time]
The atmosphere turns introspective and deep, with rhythms as delicate and textured as birds gathering food. Ethereal and moist soundscapes paint the serenity and abundance of the savannah at dusk, metaphorically storing energy for the future.

Today I celebrate my dad's birthday with an episode that I know would mean something to him.
He spent his childhood in and out of Nigeria traveling there on his school holidays from England to visit his parents who lived in Lagos. You can imagine the heat when he stepped out of the plane.

Fletchy Boy brings his background in choirs and classical piano to the dancefloor, adding live vocals and piano to original house music. Fletchy writes for the club, and his original tunes alongside live emotive vocals/keys create a unique and energetic dance experience, aiming to create a moment of introspection within a night of ecstasy.

Originally from New Zealand, Fletchy arrived in Berlin writing RnB with his brother, but was quickly intoxicated with the way electronic music was consumed in Berlin clubs. Fletchy saw an opportunity to give people a taste of vulnerability amongst the pleasure, starting with weekly balcony concerts during the pandemic and building towards the big players in Berlin and beyond.
