London-based DJ/producer Antss arrives on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax with the head-turning ‘Rocca EP’ this June.
Releasing on the likes of What NxT, Sanity, and Dark Side of the Sun, Antss’ music has been championed by some of the scene’s heaviest hitters, picking up support from Rich NxT, Enzo Siragusa, Chris Stussy, Michael Bibi, and of course Jamie Jones.
Landing on Jones’ label for the first time, Antss delivers some of his most accomplished productions to date on ‘Rocca EP’. Lead track ‘Turn It Down’ brings together wonky basslines with vocal slices, leading into a raucous breakdown. ‘Mashh Up’ sees rave stabs and bubbling low-end merge together before the track leads through a series of unexpected twists and turns.
‘Rocca’ makes use of heavy-duty, swinging drums alongside a subdued acid line, teasing subtle, creeping pads throughout the club-focused arrangement. ‘Do You Love Me?’ closes out the release, bringing vocal cuts and bass stabs over robust and punchy drum patterns.

Third we welcome @fixnch all the way from Gibraltar 🇬🇮 supplying a delightful vocal as one of the many elements that make ‘Speed Up’ a floor filler🔥 Coming in fourth we welcome back @toomasmusic after his quality ‘Strings Of Life’ edit released on Tentō earlier this year, and it’s no surprise he’s back with a bang using mystic synths and FX to bring some attitude to the dance floor💃
@markjohnsonaudio follows suit with a heavier groove that’s bound to have you stopping and waiting for nothing but the drop🔊 to round up this masterpiece we welcome back @sonysynth who you may remember from a couple of weeks ago due to his crazy edit of ‘Would You Mind’, and after hearing that it’s no wonder why we got him back for this project🙌

Brazil meets Newcastle for Mura’s debut on Patrick Topping’s Trick with the vocal smash ‘Check It’, featuring remixes from Ewan McVicar and Elliot Adamson. Continuing to discover fresh talent, Patrick Topping recruits Brazilian DJ/producer Mura for an irresistibly energetic first release laced with catchy rapped vocals sitting atop a bouncy, synth-laden production, inviting label family members Ewan McVicar and Elliot Adamson on board for a pair of high octane remixes. 

Following his ‘Street Rave EP’ on Trick in 2020, DJ Mag ‘Best Breakthrough Act’ nominee Ewan McVicar provides a high energy ‘Organ Mix’ of Mura’s original, keeping ‘88 alive with blasting stabs and chorded organs to transform ‘Check It’ into a no-holds-barred rave anthem. 

Elliot Adamson returns to Trick after yet another year of superb output in 2020 and turns in two remixes of ‘Check It’. The laser-ridden ‘Leazes’ remix and the aptly titled ‘Turbo’ remix both see the Newcastle-born producer taking no prisoners, adding a welcome dose of frenzied excitement to yet another standout release from Trick.
