I made this song when I was alone in my room and my mother came in telling me to clean it. I realized not just my room was a mess but I was in a critical status as well. I was "the mess" and my mother noticed effortlessly. I made the decision not to clean it right away but contemplate & write this song to first recollect some clarity. I guess it's about realizing that what may seem like the worst conflicts when you are young start when you walk outside your bedroom door. (For example, in this song heartbreak)
