This is an experiment. What is being used is iphone apps funkbox,impc,animoog recorded into a Micro BR 4 track. Then dumped into audition and trumpet played over the beat with some KP mini effect on it. I have been listening to a lot of Sun Ra and Yesterdays new Quintet so I think it has influenced this track.

The powerhouse of Mike Stingone's drums open this improvisation of the new and improved Flex Unger. Much like the mighty whitey Squarepusher Flex Unger can take equal forms in digital realms and acoustic music. Sometimes it's the programed beats of Flex Unger the guy and others its electro acoustic improv of Flex Unger the band.

This is a good example of the live looping method of performing Flex Unger compositions. This tune is inspired by Saudi Arabia just a personal study of the place. The Boss RC-30 is being used here. El Ten Eleven is a big influence on this music.
