Dortmund-based imprint Kittball welcomes a heavyweight collaboration between Bunny Tiger founder Sharam Jey and London’s Vanilla Ace who deploy two vibrant cuts entitled ‘My Thang’.
Since the ‘90s Sharam Jey has produced over 100 releases on labels like Toolroom, 8Bit and Suara, not to mention helming his own imprints King Kong and Bunny Tiger. Meanwhile, Vanilla Ace has made appearances on Spinnin’ Deep, Simma Black and Night Bass. The pair first collaborated with each other on Sharam Jey’s Bunny Tiger in 2013 and have worked with each other numerous times since.
A meaty kick and rolling snares meet an infectious vocal line in ‘My Thang’ as a sultry low-end rumbles onwards. ‘The Boom Bap’ then presents a fine display of percussive hits and heady breaks, moody bassline, chopped up vocal samples and sinister effects.

Para FlexB, autenticidade nunca foi exceção. O projeto é assinado por Ronaldo Galdino, DJ e produtor ativo desde 2010, que construiu uma mentalidade eclética a partir de uma relação muito próxima com a pista e de anos de dedicação à música eletrônica. Suas produções combinam diferentes referências sem perder o foco em grooves funcionais, característica que o colocou em evidência ainda antes da expansão massiva da sua cena.

DJ desde os 14 anos e produtor desde os 16, FlexB desenvolveu sua identidade de forma autodidata, acumulando experiência prática que se reflete tanto no estúdio quanto nos palcos. Ao longo da carreira, passou por clubs e festivais no Brasil e fora dele, com apresentações em eventos como XXXPerience, Universo Paralello, Soulvision e Green Valley, além de passagens pelo México, África do Sul e Moçambique.

Um dos momentos mais marcantes da sua trajetória aconteceu em 2014, com o lançamento de “Baby I’m Boss”, faixa que ganhou suporte internacional e ampliou sua circulação nas pistas. Desde então, sua discografia cresceu de forma consistente, com lançamentos por gravadoras importantes da cena global e brasileira, como Mentalo Music (Spinnin’ Records), Box Of Cats, UP Club Records, Elevation Music Records, BDV Records e Warbeats Records, além de colaborações e releituras que se tornaram pontos importantes da sua história.

Com bases no minimal e no tech house, FlexB passou a incorporar referências do bass house a partir de 2016 e 2017 e, mais recentemente, incluiu elementos do indie dance em seus sets e produções. Paralelamente à carreira artística, Ronaldo Galdino também atua no music business: é formado em Music Business pela FGV, possui especializações em propriedade intelectual e direito autoral e trabalha com gestão e auditoria de royalties. Após conduzir ciclos relevantes com Digiment Records, Brazuka Music e Abstract Channel, mantém hoje sua atuação institucional concentrada na Warbeats Records, gravadora criada em 2015 ao lado de Plastic Robots, onde segue como sócio-fundador e gestor.
