Everything started perfectly. The first time I plugged in the device it automatically recognized my WiFi network and connected to it. I was able to watch some videos on YouTube and my Facebook account, so I assume the Internet connection is fine.


We have a new DM to give me a break and we're having issues with 1 of our players trying to connect to his game. It appears to be a security issue and I have googled and tried to troubleshoot by disabling all of the DM's security before loading foundry, same for the player, and messing around with settings for each of their browsers, trying different browsers etc.


This same player has no issues connecting whenever I host a session and all players are connecting to the new DMs session via the internet but only 1 player has the connection issue. Has anyone experienced this and found anything that worked?

I think the basic question is: Is there a setting to record a quicktime screencast that saves as an MP4? I typically do the screencast and have to then convert in Mpeg Streamclip. This takes a lot of time than just taking the screencast!


I've "heard" that we can convert Audio Recording to Mp3 but opening in iTunes but I don't understand exactly the steps. So before it's brought up, let me start by saying I do have to have quicktime installed on the system. It's a necessary requirement to run Avid Media Composer which is what the system has been built to do.


The machine is not mine, however I'll be operating it for some time and can fix issues for myself where they appear. I've begun encountering a problem with Avid which I have some reason to believe may be related to an incompatible quicktime version number with the Avid version being run.


I updated quicktime, but one thing I found odd was that by default the new quikctime version installed using an installer downloaded from the apple website, by default installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime Alternative.


As near as I can tell no one has installed QuickTime Alternative on the system and what I've downloaded very much appears to be quicktime, not Quicktime Alternative. But the existence of the folder and the fact that it by default installed there suggests to me maybe it once did reside on this system.





A quicktime logo does appear on the Control Panel, but when I click on it, the driver window (I don't know the technical term for it) comes up, but it says it's not installed. When I go to the Drivers control panel and click on [MCI] Quicktime for Windows, I get an error that says "Cannot load the [MCI] QuickTime for Windows Driver. The driver file may be missing." Trying to reinstall Quicktime doesn't help.


The video driver won't install. I'm trying to follow the steps I found here for getting 3.1 to work with Dosbox, but for some reason, when I type "setup" under the windows directory after 3.1 has already been installed, I get the installation setup instead of the one being displayed.


I still haven't gotten quicktime to work. Even when I reinstall 3.1 and the drivers in the order that was recommended, quicktime still refuses to fully install, I still have the same problems that I mentioned before. Either I'm not installing the drivers correctly, or perhaps my DOSBox configuration is the culprit? If so, I have no idea where I'd change it.


There's Quicktime SDK for Windows, but any application that uses it needs quicktime runtime libraries to be installed on the system (SDK itself just has headers and library stubs, and not the actual DLLs).


If my application uses Quicktime, I'd like to install the necessary libraries with it's installer, thus not requiring user to install Quicktime separately. What I'm looking for is some sort of "quicktime redistributable".


As of now (quicktime 7.x), I can't find a way to do that. I could bundle whole quicktime installer (about 20 MiB), and launch it with MSI's silent/unattended flag. However, that way it has several side effects:

Netduino is an open source embedded systems development platform similar to Arduino, except it uses the .NET Micro Framework for programming. The Netduino development board has the same factor as Arduino Uno, and therefore most of the Arduino shields are also compatible with Netduino. The major difference between the two is the type of processor used in their boards. I have a netduino and a fez panda and have developed in .net quite a bit outside the boards. I still use arduino for everything as I have yet to be able to accomplish the same level of implementation with the .net systems as I do with arduino. That said - port write speed is very slow without "going native", which was a show stopper for me. If you don't need fast port write speed and like .net - it may work for you.

I am a student using the adobe creative cloud supplied by my university. I have install photoshop to use for some film projects and the software just isn't working. I have a Macbook Pro 2017, 3.1 GHz Dual-Core intel core i5, 8GB ram, Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650. I have had photoshop on this laptop before (2017) and it worked perfectly fine.

The issues:
- Whenever I open photoshop and I select create new, the program instantly crashes and asks me to send a crash report
- I can't access anything in preference or drop-down menus as I will receive the warning "Could not complete your request because of a program error"
- I have updated my laptop/ re-installed the most up to date version of photoshop twice, and I've now downloaded 3/4 different older versions of the software to see if the issue reoccurs.

I now have photoshop 2019 and I can create a project but I still can't access preference neither can I use the CMD + T control.

I so far have checked to make sure that the library folder is unlocked (it is) and the re-installs. I haven't had the chance to change any of the performance settings or anything to do with the plug-ins (These were the only troubleshooting things I found online). 


I have tried to contact adobe online support but it tells me I have to contact someone at my university. Which I have done and had no response. If anyone can please help I would appreciate it! (I also can't send anyone the system info from photoshop cause that menu also doesn't open without the error message)


I had to use a later version of the program and it works now. I have a class mate who was having the same issue last year and she had to go to a later version. I also had a class mate have issues with premiere pro and they had to go to an older version too. Give it a go and see if that helps. You can do this by going into your adobe cloud, sceoll to the program and the 3 dots will open up another menu where it says about later versions - just click on one version before the current one and it will do its thing. Hopefully this works for you!


Having the same issue on a macbook pro 2017, just after updating to Monterey, the bug started appearing. And I was wondering if I should update because before everything worked more or less fine. :( Before this update, I had one issue with indesign for a while that was not bothering me so much, that Indesign would ask me after boot if I wanted to recreate a file that had been closed before saving and that it couldn't find the file. Normally you just click it away and its not gonna show up again. This message comes now every time I start the program, even if the issue is fixed already, its still showing me that its looking for this stupid file. And when I want to work on something in indesign its impossible, I can not open the menu, not even for a while. Im so desperate, I wanted to follow the advice from one of the users here, but the path he typed there doesn't work on me, I don't find the folder that contains my presets. Even when I deinstall Indesign and also delete the presets I have in creative cloud, It still starts with the same problems as before as soon as its installed. It SUCKS so bad, I can't use the program AT ALL and I can't work like this.


oh wow, how deep can one fall to introduce fake lens blur. I mean it's ok for iphone users and it looks bad enough but why kill photography altogether with this? it's a statement, adobe! I would also like to see dpreview feature some of the nicest lenses in terms of beautiful bokeh (yeah, no real photographer cares about sharpness)

Because of Final Cut Pro X 10.4.1 I needed high sierra. So I just did it. There was a problem with the graphics card (macOS graphic drivers where not recognizing the card and I had to use NVIDIA driver).
