Our favourite Austrian duo EXEA are back with something seriously sweet! Following up their recent singles ‘Do It Right’ and ‘Watcha Gonna Do?’ is ‘Honey’ - a delectably candied aural offering just in time for the Summer. 

Opening with piano chords and Emma’s syrupy vocal, backed by pleasing harmonies and vocal layers, 'Honey’ is a sun-soaked liquid roller at its core. The drop sees in chirruping synth work, crisp drums and gorgeously funk-driven, often syncopated basswork. Playful arrangement & writing dazzle in the second verse, and of course there is a charming, pleasing, trademark EXEA half-time breakdown and outro to boot.   

Get some yoghurt and berries, and grab some ‘Honey’ courtesy of Soulvent Records this June 27th for a delicious and nutritious breakfast of beats!
