I've been an avid user of Image-Line's fantastic FM synth Toxic Biohazard for a long, long time, basically since it came out. I figured I'd share some of my favorite custom presets with you, and of course I needed a demo song. Enjoy!

Note: All synth sounds created with Toxic Biohazard and utterly minimal processing (very light EQ on a few tracks, sidechaining where applicable, master track has been compressed/EQ'd).

CPU Subterfuge (Rap Beat)

This is one of those songs that stretched me as a musician. I had the privilege of working alongside Andrew and Justin for this piece (OA and Nutritious, respectively), and they each contributed completely essential parts.

Andrew contributed all the guitar work (so metal!), some strings, some background percussion, some sound effects and some synthy bits. Justin added some of the main drums, some sound effects, some more strings, and a bit of bass wubbles here and there.

I sampled a song by Snarky Puppy called "Binky," and then sent the beat to Detective Tuesday. He promptly spit some fire, and then I put everything together. I hope you dig it.

When @ddrkirbyisq asked me to do a remix for his official debut artist album, I couldn't turn him down. After hearing several songs off the album, I decided I wanted to go ahead and remix the first song on the album: Fortitude. The original is a fun, breakbeat sort of thing, but this has kicked the intensity up a few notches and pushed it into my favorite DnB realm.
