"Miss You" follows the pain of losing someone you believed would stay forever as he holds onto the moments that made their love feel unbreakable even when everything has changed. He keeps replaying memories trying to understand what went wrong because he was still loving her the same way and thought their connection would always remain. His voice carries soft heartbreak as he admits he never imagined a future without her and now he is walking through the emptiness she left behind. He questions why her feelings changed when he was still showing up the way he always did and hoping she would wait just like she said she would. The chorus rises with real longing as he repeats how much he misses her and wishes he could kiss her again just to feel close and bring back what they once shared. He calls out hoping they can talk it through because the missing is too heavy to ignore and he still believes they can fix what slipped out of their hands.
