Presentamos el set número 12 de la serie.
Maximiliano Perez aka MaPe, un joven de la camada 97’ nacido en Las Piedras, Canelones, Uruguay. Su primer contacto solido con la música fue en el 2010 con el genero Hip-Hop el cual lo acompaño durante toda su adolescencia.

En 2014 conoce Phonotheque y gracias a ello su atracción por el formato vinilo despego, teniendo como influencias a artistas como Z@p, Dj Koolt, Nico Etorena, Nicolas Lutz, Fede Lijtmaer, entre otros. A partir del 2016 empezó a armar su batea musical donde podemos encontrar tanto House, TechnoHouse, ElectroBreak, GoaTrance, IDM, tech house,entre otros. Amante y coleccionista de vinilos.

A finales de 2021 sale al exterior precisamente Argentina donde se presenta baja la producción de Standing Waves, crece su conocimiento y experiencia detrás de la cabina.
Actualmente esta al mando del colectivo musical @aroaro.uy, curado en su ciudad.

Sin muchas presentaciones en público, es de conocimiento que una sesión de MaPe será una experiencia muy grata. El empeño y concentración a la hora de armar un viaje a través de la música es determinante en él. La transición  de géneros y mezclas caracterizadas por la variable de sonidos.

Santiago Vieira aka SV3 is a Uruguayan musician/producer borned and raised in Barrio Sur, Montevideo.

At an early age of 4, Santiago started his path into music by studying in the Taller Uruguayo de Música Popular (T.U.M.P.). 

Strongly surrounded by artists, his passion for electronic music began when he was a teenager influenced by the clubs he went to and talented local artists from his hometown such as Z@p, DJ Koolt, Matías Muten, Nicolas Lutz, Hernán González aka Two Phase U, Santiago Uribe and many more.

Later on, he participated in locally respected projects such as @deeper.uy and @atemporal.discos. The first one is a prestigious Uruguayan party and the second one is a rising vinyl store.

On this occasion he presents us his first Live format Set inviting Software and analog hardware.

02. Cosmic Disco Cult

Mix02 is, once again, by our dear friend, wax master and graphic genius, Daniel @cosmicdiscocult , who will provide us with a monthly vinyl-only mad mix.. 👽😵‍💫

Daniel has been spinning records since the late 90s, starting with trance and moving into more classic house and techno.
The project Cosmic Disco Cult was a result of getting bored of the state of techno and house at that time.. He asked himself,
what was is that he fell in love with all those years ago? What was the source? It was the deep baselines and melodies of psytrance, the chanting voices and all the trippy stuff.
His next question was, what are the roots of trance? He traced it to the north Italian cosmic scene, 1980. The Italian cosmic style was a blend of African music, German and British electronica, some Italo disco, and obscure disco, often played at wrong bpm.

@cosmicdiscocult is a new interpretation and homage to that scene, blending many different genres, playing in the wrong tempo and bpm, to create a driving hypnotic trance like vibe. Pure psychonaut business 🚀
