After dealing with some unexpected health issues recently, I decided to embark on a daily walk every morning, and ended up finding solace and healing in the mossy forests of western Washington. Earthwalker is inspired by all my time spent here wandering through the trees.

'PROXIMITY DESIRE' is the 13th full-length album from experimental-electronic producer Ohsaurus.

"Proximity Desire is about the necessity of human connection beyond mere digital acknowledgement. In this modern age of social media, artificial intelligence, augmented reality and remote working, the 'art' of platonic physical intimacy is en route to irrelevance. Proximity Desire is, in essence, a statement on human interaction and the role our physical manifestations play in the propagation of ideas and energy.

Using a sonic palette of future sounds, fuzzy synthesizers and crunchy drum loops, I set out to communicate this deeply personal, eager, anxious, and sometimes exhausting concept. Nestled in the framework of an assortment of electronic genres, PD is a bath of aural texture and emotion. Sizzling distortion and digital winds for the backdrop for melodic synthesizers and stuttering guitar riffs."
