After a little break and two awesome raves, we gonna continue with our Cavecast series.  This time with Inspektor Lenny from the Stuttgart based Ritual:Digital collective.

Tracks in this mix are mainly oldschool 90's tracks, digged deep out of Lenny's collection in order to create in homage to the 90's rave scene.

"If I could travel through time, I would travel back to that exact time in order to witness the creation of these sounds, the euphoric vibe and the  scene!"

The mix has an evolving progression from a groovy and shakin' vibes into a more dreamier atmosphere.

Member of the Moscow BOILER ROOM and resident of the cult Moscow clubs: Mix, Solyanka, Arma 17, Krugozor. His discography includes a CD album and several singles on vinyl, including the Chicago label Glenview Records Inc "Don't Turn" EP, which was top five best-selling records, in the main DJ store Juno Records and included in the compilation of the authoritative American magazine XLR8R and European 22tracks.
As a mix mastering engineer Sasha worked with such artists as: GEJU, Ponty Mython, Marymoon and many others. And his most famous work in this capacity is the album "Cheburashka" by Krovostok.

We keep it local with our next podcast, a long time Dekmantel friend. Yuri Boselie is an occasional producer of deep and moody sounds but is foremost a DJ extra-ordinaire. He was a resident at the sorely missed Trouw and is the sort of DJ who defies categorisation. From major festivals to Boiler Room gigs, intimate basements to open air sessions, he knows exactly what to draw for and when to draw for it. House, garage, techno and plenty in between are all fair game for the man who has also collaborated with Tom Trago, and who is responsible for the Beat Dimension compilations that kickstarted the growth of the beats scene in Europe. 

The podcast he puts together is 70 minutes of smooth, feel house and playful grooves. There are trips into acid, tracks from yesterday year and pure party vibes all neatly melted together into the sort of bouncy session that is deceptively effortless. 

Dekmantel Podcast 056 - Cinnaman

Since 1990 Placid has been spinning the platters that matter, legendary for his sets of purest 303-drenched acid and his reputation as 'The DJ's DJ'. Resident on Dj International radio and at London's monthly acid house night I Love Acid, Placid's gigging biography has taken him to Detroit, New York, Berlin, France, Spain and Holland as well as Glastonbury and BLOC music festivals. Reputed to be owner of one of the world's most encompassing collections of Acid House, Placid is a walking acid-house encyclopaedia who can always be trusted to dig deep into his records crate to bring you a pure vinyl set of the absolute best of Acid House, Detroit Techno, Retro Electro and Chicago House.

He tells us that this mix, recorded at home, is more for the head than the feet...but we found our feet moving nonetheless.
