Funky Flippin' Fresh

Hey, I'm Fl!p...

I enjoy listening, mixing and groovin along to nightime psytrance.

I originally got into psytrance through the uplifting trance world where I saw a few DJs throw some psy tracks at the end of their sets. After going to my first doof - Strawberry Fields 2011 and watching Dickster play a sunrise set I finally understood full on psytrance. Eventually I have grown to like the darker styles and love playing night time psychedelic full on.

Some international artists I love playing include: Diksha, Synthetik Chaos, Fungus Funk, Synkronic, Microsphere, Radikal Moodz, Uka Uka, Babagoon & Whiptounge.

Melbourne has a killer local scene with heaps of artists that have inspired me to listen to more music and learn how to mix. I have been stoked to have supported the likes of Tristan, Farebi Jalebi, Dark Nebula, Banjhaks, Fish Eye, Megapixel, Glacial, Lunar, Cyan, as well as many more fantasic local artists.
