The name "FreeLookMode Productions" is a joke.  In the original Counterstrike game, when you were killed by an enemy player, you could then watch the rest of the round via free floating camera.   This was called "Free Look Mode."  I named my player FreeLookMode, and joked to my friends that I was such a terrible player that I spend all my time dead, so I might as well have an appropriate handle. 

While I have old musical roots in music theory in college and self taught piano and guitar, I am brand spanking new to the world of digital music creation.  Music has always been something I am passionate about, and I've decided I want to invest a little more seriously in the tools to allow me to be creative.  I know that I have no talent yet, and I know that its not simple to make quality music.  But I completely enjoy the learning process.  My hope is that in a years time I'll be able to produce music that I am personally happy with, and which could be described as "quality amateur" work.
