ARMADILHA é um espectáculo do colectivo DEMO, que nasce a partir do universo literário do escritor RUI NUNES. A pesquisa propõe o encontro entre a trilogia - A Mão do Oleiro, Barro e Armadilha - e as artes performativas e plásticas, para a exploração de diferentes formas de interação com este material literário. Um trabalho que se torna inconfundível pela forma como o escritor explora a dilatação dos limites da linguagem, pelo desregramento e contínua suspensão, e pela nova abordagem a uma forma narrativa livre. Entramos nesta realidade-ficção que revela inquietações contemporâneas: identidade, nomadismo, pátria. Uma realidade poliédrica onde surgem fissuras autobiográficas do autor: a infância como espaço de absoluta liberdade, o envelhecimento, a ruína, o osso, a fome insaciável e a impossibilidade da fuga. Somos todos bichos. Palavras.
Carregamos todos uma casa, um lugar sem coordenadas, uma luta contra o sentido único: o poder.

ARMADILHA, a show from DEMO collectiv, is born from the literary universe of the writer RUI NUNES. The research proposes the encounter between the trilogy - A Mão do Oleiro, Barro e Armadilha - and the performative and plastic arts, for the exploration of different forms of interaction with this literary material. A work that becomes unmistakable for the way the writer explores the dilatation of the limits of language, for the deregulation and continuous suspension, and for the new approach to a free narrative form. We enter this reality-fiction that reveals contemporary concerns: identity, nomadism, homeland. A polyhedral reality where autobiographical fissures of the author emerge: childhood as a space of absolute freedom, ageing, ruin, bone, insatiable hunger and the impossibility of escape. We are all animals. Words.
We all carry sketches, debris, incomplete drawings, incomplete pain.
It's here. It's there.
The construction of a homeland that is a visual and sonorous journey. Paths. it's there.

Floating Machine is Antonio Lourenço, a portuguese producer within the experimental ambient techno scope of sounds. He gathered influences from Jazz and Ambient to techno, with Psychedelic and Hypnotic soundscapes. Learned and played regularly instruments like guitar, piano or sax and took part in some experimental projects in distinct areas like jazz, funk or reggae.
Influenced by the electronic music, start to produce, exploring these early influences into techno context and also leaning deeply into the palette of ambient experimental sounds
Boom Festival, Hadra, ZNA Gathering, Freedom Festival, are some of the events where Floating Machine has performed.
You can find his music on Bandcamp, or labels as Secuencias Temporales, Circular Limited, Aarden Records, Digital Diamonds, Techgnosis, Electrik Dream, Mindspring and Blind Arc. Using music to connect and communicate, taking the listener to adventurous and unpredictable aural journeys is what he is intended with his productions and sets.
