Lorca kick starts 2014 with Forgive Me Love / Naoko, his debut release on Breach’s (aka Ben Westbeech)Naked Naked imprint, joining the ranks of Dusky, Dark Sky, Midland, Mak & Pasteman and Westbeech himself.

The two-­track EP follows up Lorca’s highly acclaimed 2013 If I Told You EP on 2020 Midnight Visions, and his stellar remix of Ghostpoet’s Cold Win which received widespread support, with Midland tipping it as quite possibly the remix of the year.

With highly lauded releases on Dummy, Throwing Snow’s Left_blank imprint and Church, Lorca has made a strong impression in the two short years he’s been producing. His superb Can’t See Higher / Missed Me EP in 2012 on Dummy was the turning point, transforming him from a promising young talent into an exceptional one, gaining support from the likes of Bonobo, Rob Da Bank, Deetron and Scuba...

This latest release meets building expectations, both tracks incredibly smooth, nostalgia-­inducing and heavily textured, solidifying Lorca’s unique sound.

Throwing Snow presents ‘Xema’, the final instalment in a trio of EPs that pair his ear for melody with club-ready drive. “Built for the summer, yet seen through a wintery prism,” they have formed the recent backbone of his ever-changing live set. It goes without saying that we love Axel Boman as his weird and wonderful take on house music has soothed our ears for years. 

His remix of 'Love Apparel' takes things deeper than the original by using serene backing synths, melodies that ooze melancholia and a bassline that although dense, adds another level of dreaminess to the cut.
