Barcelona based Ukrainian O’FourtyFour aka Pahatam has been making his way through the underground jungle for some time now and at present he is nearing a new level. Being a part of the resident team of Closer has meant that he has been able to flourish into the forward thinking artist you see before you. Having built a solid name for himself under his previous moniker Evgeny has now added releases on labels such as Sequalog and Amanita Gems to his discography.

Wading into our newest addition to the InSession series O'FortyFour wastes absolutely no time at all in setting up an outrageous vibe. Industrious bleeps meet angular basslines head on where they do battle against the rising tide of thunderous drums and percussion. For those of you that have not made the trip to Closer or Brave Factory this mix will act as a snapshot into the obscene energy levels that can be found at every area of the sprawling events.

From his first few releases on the influential Interactive Test label and as Major Hypnotic Key Institute, Miki was a key figure in shaping the early techno landscape. It's testament to his staying power that he's been able to remain cutting edge for so long, with many of his records getting a new lease of life when picked up by the usual suspects.

This mix checks in at almost three hours and is a consummate display of the man's talents; the sheer breadth of his record collection and the skilful manner it's woven together in all befitting of a 30+ year veteran.
