As some amongst us push harder to draw lines, build walls, and separate us from one another, it remains one of the utmost import goals of musicians and curators to push back even harder in order to bring us back together. For this reason we are determined to keep a global perspective when it comes to our curation, with our previous mixes ranging from Glasgow to Brisbane. We now present an exemplification of the rich creative talent that emanates from the south with this hour of time-melting atmosphere compiled by Italian artist Kaelan aka Nico Campanella. With releases on renowned techno imprints such as Construct Re-form, CLFT, Subosc and Monnom Black, we are humbled and inspired to showcase the other side of his distinct sound.

Inaugurating a new chapter for Horo, Liam Blackburn continues his journey as Ancestral Voices. Following on from the ‘Night Of Visions’ LP for Samurai Horo and his recent ‘Old Earth Voodoo’ EP for Samurai Music, 'Yantra' is 4 soaring creations that further develop his caustic ambience. Euphoric touches that hint at his work as Indigo are added into the mix, but the hazy sonic atmosphere initiated with ‘Night Of Visions’ dominates throughout, refined here into a meditative form that whispers renewal and rediscovery.

Sometimes we like to think we completely discovered and revealed our world and that there's nothing new on the horizon, but we are wrong, because sometimes its hard to see the forest for the trees. So we step back to get some perspective and see a bigger picture and then we realize that there's much more that we are yet to discover and experience.

Metahorizon gives one such panoramic glimpse into the future of progressive trance music. It zoomed out, embraced the whole spectrum, processed and analyzed, filtered through millions of different sounds and combinations, then finally, catalyzed by cosmic inspiration and materialized by human interaction, formed into 9 tracks overloading with positive dancefloor energy and innovation.

Label artists took the freedom of making this leap of cognition themselves, and the music they created speaks of a new world beyond the horizon, waiting to be discovered and seized. But to get there, one must move, create, and progress further. One must not stop.
