Out-of-this-world beauty, the power of this song and the amalgamations of its sounds and the coalescing suitability of them is masterful on a scale I've not come across before. It's the background layer sounds which get to me, like what sounds like a violin in the backdrop of the main loud components of this song towards its earlier parts and a sound which makes me think of rattling chains in its later parts. This has to be one of the most beautiful and stirring pieces of music ever, to me

About Oppositeland:
If you think about oppositeland, the first things that come to mind are for instance: Every one is walking backwards, every thing is upside down, you talk in an opposite language and you are wearing your clothes inside out.
But if you think about it a little longer you'll soon discover that it goes a bit deeper. Your senses will get messy as well, you can hear smelly things and taste sound waves and amplitudes. Eventually you’ll learn that there is actually nothing in oppositeland, that we do have in normal life. And vice versa. All of life’s impossible-to-answer-questions will be answered in oppositeland.
At the same time oppositeland can describe a less abstract story about the present and the future, where all natural life is left behind and everything is turned in mechanical and synthetic material.

Includes a Radio Edit of “Flight”, and in addition to “Dust (Floex remix)” the release features three new remixes: previous single “Footsteps” is given a beautiful reworking by Lost Twin, and “The Windfall” receives the treatment from both Maddslinky (aka Zed Bias) and The Colonel. Released by Tru Thoughts Recordings. The single is also out on 10” vinyl, care of Denovali Records.

We asked some of the artists we love who we believe are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of electronic music to make their own renditions of the Ripples album by Alejandro Bento. They chose the tune they most resonated with and created very unique pieces honoring the piano yet bringing forth their own distinct sound. They were given full creative freedom in what direction they wanted to take their remix, and what they sent us was very unique and surprising, as expected by these gendre-blurring, boundary-pushing artists. We have collaborations from Memotone, Christopher Willits, Souns, LCC - Las Casicasiotone, Leeward and Axel Toben - this last one being a rendition by Alejandro Bento himself under his electronic music alias. We really like it, hope you do too.
