Rory Cochrane has been spinning house music for over 25 years. Influenced by legends like Dubtribe Sound System and Miguel Migs, Rory's passion for Deep House keeps his sound fresh and relevant. You can catch him at Newcastle's Tokyo Bar and on Bloop London Radio. Rory runs the labels Deep Site Digital and Deep Site Vinylized and he released tracks on labels including Oh! Join me on an eclectic, vibe-heavy daytime trip into Sunset with some big tunes from this summer. 

Some of these were hard to find and span the best of the lesser-known Afro-House and Melodic throwback edits I’ve uncovered over the last month.  

More Background:

Every year in late July, 200+ friends from around the world converge in a Valley in Vermont for PYNK.

There are two primary venues for music across the four-day weekend: The Creek and the Cabin. 

The Creek is a grassy venue that sits just atop a beautifully shady, rock-strewn brook.  

It's not every day you can play an amazingly well-tuned d&b sound system to dancers frolicking in and out of the water as sunbeams shine through the trees.

I hope you enjoy this set, which was one of my highlights of Summer 2024 so far!

this set captures the essence of my opening set at @donotsit. a blend of deep grooves and melodic jams, recorded live while setting the stage for the legendary lost desert.

Dear friends, I'm grateful to share with you the recording of a morning session I had the pleasure to DJ on the cutest art car, Lucy S Cargo the colourful Sonic Snail 🌈  after sunrise on Friday AM at Burning Man 2024.

It was a sunny Friday morning on this love planet, smiling and taking life as it comes, lightly and playfully. 

I was so glad to DJ alongside @christianvoldstad and after my brother @dextercrowe who was soundtracking his first sunrise session on the playa so beautifully! I recommend you start with his set so you can hear the earlier chapter of this sunrise journey.  

Gratitude & Mettā - May the light of this moment be shared with all beings who need it.   ❤️
