Scary Monsters

Three metal-loving musicians found each other in Bozeman, Montana and carefully crafted an album, drawing on their varied and eclectic styles. By chance, they found a path to Gothenburg, Sweden where they recorded this album. The result is a combination, not just of their efforts but also the creative forces assembled in their pre-production, tracking, mixing and mastering colleagues. Now, they've coalesced back in Portland and Denver and have their heavy drums, thick guitars and melodic vocals to share with everyone.

Floodfall formed in Bozeman, Montana and rapidly developed a deep connection with Top Floor Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden where their first album was recorded. The multinational collaboration reinforced Floodfall’s deep, eclectic style and helped them weather a major lineup shift as they were beginning the recording of their second album. Now located in Portland, Oregon, the band is a close partnership between David and Zane Hearst. The collaboration with Top Floor's Jakob Herrmann remains a constant, along with phenomenal contributions from Gustavo Sazes on artwork and Ryan Erlandsen (Marble Mountain Films) on videos. This team toughed out a number of big challenges as the second album came together and can’t wait to get it out into the world…very soon.
