Floor Ready present the label's debut release with a 3-track EP from Wilmot, a producer from San Francisco. 'Round Around' and 'Back To The Grind' deliver a mix of evolving synth lines and rolling low-frequencies to drive the dancefloor. Wilmot really highlights his versatility as a producer with 'Swashbuckling', a no holds barred distorted warehouse stomper.

Floor Ready welcome the first South American artist to their roster: bR1 from Argentina. The 'No Place To Hide EP' is an exploration of signature techno sounds, with crisp 909 samples and dub chords, encapsulating the essence of Berlin from the viewpoint of Buenos Aires. These three techno tools are ideal for layering sounds, yet still possess enough variation and energy to shake dance floors on their own.

The tenth release sees label owners ajwd & Obstrct deliver their first EP on Floor Ready. 'Secret Library' is a healthy slice of tribal techno, with a weighted synth stab that bounces itself around the tightly woven percussion and bass. Callum Plant takes 'Secret Library' and treats it with his signature jacking drums, whilst the main synth is de-constructed into a classic techno chord line. Rising Colombian producer Alessan Main turns the original on its head, pushing the elements back behind a wall of dark grooves that rolls in the front of flashes of haunting strings. Ayako Mori's remix is a lo-fi exploration of rhythmic percussion and wobbly sub undertones.

Sore Icon's second EP on Floor Ready is an amalgamation of organic and mechanical techno sounds. In 'Pt1' the percussion is stripped away in the break to bring forth a hypnotic sawtooth synth line, with the elements filtering back through and completing the package. Umba makes his return to Floor Ready, tilting 'Pt1' around and infusing it with his signature grooves and crystalline percussive synths. The pace ramps up in 'Pt2', where an array of glitchy drums and heavenly pads chemically react with the subby undertones.  'Pt3' rolls along with a foggy groove, with the haze occasionally lifting to reveal an industrial complex of stabs and screams.

bR1 returns to Floor Ready with the 'Entendimiento EP'. The title track 'Entendimiento' is a lo-fi weapon that opts for space and minimalism, giving it a distinctive atmosphere that is powered forward by warm chords and a broken beat. Rommek's remix takes 'Entendimiento' and turns it into a functional, rolling tool track. The orchestrated chord line interplays with their dubbier counterparts, whilst a wave of sub bass and kick dance together below. bR1's second original track is 'Percepcion', which does away with minimalism and builds itself around a constant array of dub hits and crystalline percussion. Label boss Obstrct calls his remix the 'Dub Edit' for good reason, adding an extra stabby chord to 'Percepcion', as well as adding his signature breakdowns to let the track breathe and build.

Arctor wraps the EP up with 'Jack Lint', which is a no-holds-barred industrial stomper.

Initially joining us on remix duties, Owen Ni steps up and delivers the 'Brainwash' single on Floor Ready. 'Brainwash' is an unfiltered, pure tool track that is built around a hypnotic sonar bleep and an underbelly of sub bass hits. JoyB takes 'Brainwash' and applies his signature finish, with a bed of crunchy drums and giving the sonar hit some company with a splashing of synths and effects. Newcomer Phantom Network takes the track into a funkier territory, adding a rolling warm bass and housey stabs.

The first release of 2016 sees newcomer Bog Engine deliver the 'Sewer EP' on Floor Ready. The title track 'Sewer' is a dark atmospheric tool, with a fierce kick drum and watery effects. On the second track 'Intel', Bog Engine keeps up the dark flair and adds rolling sine bleeps. Boooox makes a welcome return to the label, this time on remix duties, deconstructing 'Intel' and adding his heavyweight signature sound.
