Alzheimer's is the most common form of dementia. Dementia is a serious loss of cognitive ability in a previously unimpaired person, beyond what might be expected from normal aging.

This incurable, degenerative, and terminal disease was first described by German psychiatrist and neuropathologist Alois Alzheimer in 1906 and was named after him. Most often, it is diagnosed in people over 65 years of age, although the less-prevalent early-onset Alzheimer's can occur much earlier. 

In the early stages, the most commonly recognised symptom is inability to acquire new memories, such as difficulty in recalling recently observed facts.

As the disease advances, symptoms include confusion, irritability and aggression, mood swings, language breakdown, long-term memory loss, and the general withdrawal of the sufferer as their senses decline. Gradually, bodily functions are lost, ultimately leading to death.

Mental stimulation, exercise, and a balanced diet are suggested, as both a possible prevention and a sensible way of managing the disease.

Because AD cannot be cured and is degenerative, management of patients is essential. The role of the main caregiver is often taken by the spouse or a close relative. Alzheimer's disease is known for placing a great burden on caregivers; the pressures can be wide-ranging, involving social, psychological, physical, and economic elements of the caregiver's life. In developed countries, AD is one of the most costly diseases to society.

Susanna Lee Hoffs (born January 17, 1959) is an American vocalist, guitarist and actress. She is best known as a member of the all-female pop band The Bangles.
Hoffs appeared in the first Austin Powers movie as a member of the fictitious 1960s rock group Ming Tea, fronted by the title character. In real life, Ming Tea consisted of actor Mike Myers, Hoffs, Canadian musician/producer Christopher Ward, and singer Matthew Sweet. This group made a number of television performances (with Myers in character as Powers) and had a minor hit with the song "BBC". Under The Covers Vol. 2 is your second collaboration with Matthew Sweet. How did the two of you first get together?
I met Matthew in the nineties. I was a big fan of his music, particularly the Girlfriend record. I thought it was an astounding record, the sound, the songs and everything about it. The voice and the production were amazing. I had an opportunity to work with Fred Maher, who produced Girlfriend. I think I met Matthew in the studio and we just stayed in touch over the years. I was working on a solo record with Greg Leisz , who is all over the Under The Covers records. He is a phenomenal player who plays great pedal steel and lap steel. Matthew was doing a little acoustic show and Greg was playing with him. They invited me to come sing with them and I thought to invite Mike Meyers to see the show because I had a feeling that Mike would really like Matthew’s music. It turned out that I was right about that and Matthew, Mike and I started a little band, Ming Tea, just for fun. That band ended up being a way for Mike to work out his Austin Powers character. We approached the band as if it were in the sixties where we all had pseudonyms. It was a funny little thing but we ended up doing quite a bit of music for the Austin Powers movies. My friendship with Matt grew from that. The Bangles were doing a show for a charity at that same little venue where we had seen Matthew, called McCabe’s, we invited him to come sing with us. Matthew pulled me aside and said that he had heard, funnily enough, a couple of cover songs that I had done way back in 1983 or 1984. I had done a couple of Velvet Underground songs. One was a song that had been written by Bob Dylan and the Velvet Underground had done back in the sixties called “I’ll Keep Up With Mine.” He had heard that song when he was in high school. He said that he had always had the idea that he wanted to work with me. I said “That’s fantastic! I would love to work with you on something!” It morphed from there to “Lets definitely make a record together!” and that became this series of cover records.

Musical style
Ikimono-gakari's musical style stems from their original lounge rock style found on their first three mini albums under Cubit Club. Their primary instruments were the acoustic guitar, the electric guitar, and the harmonica. Their initial music was considerably slower; "Natsu Koi" on Sakura Saku Machi Monogatari is considerably faster in tempo compared to the same song on Makoto ni Senetsu Nagara First Album wo Koshirae Mashita.... Guitarist and band leader Yoshiki Mizuno also sang considerably more on their indie albums.

With the release of their first major-label album, Sakura Saku Machi Monogatari, their style changed to a more conventional rock style, but still keeping with their traditional guitar-harmonica combination. They also began to add other elements to their songs, such as strings and tambourines, as evidenced by "Sakura" and "Kira Kira Train". Additionally, they recorded songs with faster tempos, such as "Ryūsei Miracle" and "Hinageshi".

Ikimono-gakari began to shift to a more mainstream pop sound with their second and third albums, Life Album and My Song Your Song. Songs like "Kimagure Romantic" differed greatly from their songs during the Sakura Saku era. Life Album saw the revival of a couple of songs from their indie albums; "Hana wa Sakura Kimi wa Utsukushi" from Makoto ni Senetsu... and "Chikoku Shichau yo" from Jinsei Sugoroku Dabe. "Kuchidzuke", also from Jinsei Sugoroku Dabe. was revived on My Song Your Song.

Their initial music was considerably slower; "Natsu Koi" on Sakura Saku Machi Monogatari is considerably faster in tempo compared to the same song on Makoto ni Senetsu Nagara First Album wo Koshirae Mashita.... Guitarist and band leader Yoshiki Mizuno also sang considerably more on their indie albums.

With the release of their first major-label album, Sakura Saku Machi Monogatari, their style changed to a more conventional rock style, but still keeping with their traditional guitar-harmonica combination. They also began to add other elements to their songs, such as strings and tambourines, as evidenced by "Sakura" and "Kira Kira Train". Additionally, they recorded songs with faster tempos, such as "Ryūsei Miracle" and "Hinageshi".

Ikimono-gakari began to shift to a more mainstream pop sound with their second and third albums, Life Album and My Song Your Song. Songs like "Kimagure Romantic" differed greatly from their songs during the Sakura Saku era. Life Album saw the revival of a couple of songs from their indie albums; "Hana wa Sakura Kimi wa Utsukushi" from Makoto ni Senetsu... and "Chikoku Shichau yo" from Jinsei Sugoroku Dabe. "Kuchidzuke", also from Jinsei Sugoroku Dabe. was revived on My Song Your Song.

Oasis were an English rock band that formed in Manchester in 1991. In August 2009, Noel Gallagher announced his departure from the band after a backstage altercation with Liam before a festival appearance. A band comprising of the remaining members of Oasis, led by Liam Gallagher, decided to continue working together under the name Beady Eye.

Gino Padilla was one of the country’s top pop icons in the 80’s. His first album, entitled “Shifting Gears”, made him famous during the time. As a matter of fact, “Closer you and I”, one of the songs in Gino’s Shifting Gears, won the Awit Award as record and song of the year (the year the album was released). His album was certified platinum.

He bade goodbye to his recording career in the mid 90’s. When he finally decided that he would not leave the music industry, Gino had a hard time from staging a comeback as a singer. With the money they take in, the Billy Graham Ministry under the banner of Worldwide Pictures should be able to produce a film with better production values than some of the religious films I've seen. That in fact they did in the film Caught. Would that the story and direction and acting matched the technical stuff.

The film was made to take advantage of the International Conference of Itinerant Evangelists taking place in Amsterdam which among others featured Billy Graham. Graham himself is seen in sermons before the conference woven into the plot of the film.

Which centers on two people, American kid John Shepherd and Indian Amerjie Deu. Amerjie is in Amsterdam for the conference, but Shepherd came there trying to find his birth father. Seems he just learned that he was an out of wedlock child to Jill Ireland when she was living with a Dutch student during the hippie sixties. The knowledge has given him an attack of teenage angst.

Of course when in the Netherlands that notorious sin center of Europe he falls prey to all kinds of temptation and winds up selling drugs and selling himself in Amsterdam. But in a series of incredibly coincidental meetings with Deu, Shepherd reevaluates his life and since this is a Christian evangelical film, you know what that means.

Which brings me to an interesting observation. Whoever wrote and researched the film must have had a knowledge of homo-erotica and fetishism that's not usually learned in bible college. I also wonder how a Christian filmmaker managed to learn about Amsterdam's notorious spot for rent boys.

Of course it's made abundantly clear that Shepherd is gay for pay. Note that none of the other really gay kids out street hustling is even attempted to be evangelized. The producers knew well to stay away from that topic.

Caught will never exactly be a prime candidate for any film honors. Still it's a curious work considering who produced it.

Norzila binti Haji Aminuddin or Ella (born July 31, 1966) is a popular Malaysian rock musician. Ratu Rock is Malay for "Queen of Rock" and this is an apt title for this female rock-star. Ella's more well-known hit songs spanned from the 1990s to today. Ella still holds the local record for the bestselling female artist for pushing more than 300,000 copies of her records during the peak of her career. She also became an international icon and one of the 'Richest Artists' in Malaysia.

Biography

Ella hails from Gelugor, Penang and was raised in the Klang Valley in Selangor. She lives with her parents, along with her other siblings. During her school days, she was often invited to sing at ceremonies held in her alma mater. Ella completed her studies while she was in Form Five at the Tunku Ampuan Rahimah Girls School in Klang Valley. Before she became a master in the arts field, she used to sing in various places in the Klang Valley such as in night clubs and lounges. After singing in one of those clubs, Ella was contacted by one of the bands called The Boys who were also night club singers. After a discussion, Ella agreed to merge with their band and they were given the name ( Ella & The Boys ). In 2007, Ella filed a complaint with police, after a sex tape allegedly of her and her sister in the presence of a couple performing sexual acts surfaced. 

Successful Entrepreneur

After her success in creating a name in the arts field, she finally decided that she wanted to master commerce which was her dream all along. She managed to open and develop various companies because of her hard work. Some of the companies she founded include Ella's Production, Ella Inc's Sdn Bhd and Syarikat Ombak Warna Sdn Bhd. Until today, she remains one of Malaysia's successful entrepreneurs. Ella used to manage many businesses such as importing and exporting items that were made by her own companies. Today, she creates health care and beauty products which uses her own name, that is ELLA. These products are not only popular domestically, but are even noted in several neighbouring countries such as Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei.

Laura Story is an American Contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter from Spartanburg, South Carolina.

CAREER

Story began her career in 1996 when she met Shane Williams, from the band Silers Bald, at Columbia International University. Williams asked Story to join the band and she became their bass player. Story released four independent albums with the band.

When the band was about to sign a deal with Essential Records, Story's manager suggested her to record a solo album. In 2002, Story left Silers Bald and began working on her first album, Indescribable, which was released independently that same year. In 2004, the title track of her album was recorded by Chris Tomlin in his album, Arriving. Tomlin's version peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs and was included in the compilation album Passion: How Great Is Our God. The band Avalon also recorded a version of the song for the WOW Worship 2006 album.

Story released her second independent album in 2005, titled There Is Nothing. The album was produced by Ed Cash and Mitch Dane. During that year, she also married Martin Elvington, and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to become the worship leader and women’s pastor for the arts and music community at Perimeter Church.

In 2006, Story signed a record contract with INO Records and two years later, released her third album, Great God Who Saves. The album was also produced by Ed Cash. In 2010, she was nominated for a Dove Award for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 41st GMA Dove Awards.

How did a string bassist from South Carolina end up Money a worship anthem known and loved by millions? It all began with a providential moment in the class registration line her second year at Columbia International University
