## Tuning

This work is in the 41 equal temperament. Pure-octave tuning (41edo) @ concert D is recommended. Other tunings (stretched, compressed, well temperaments) are acceptable. The reference pitch is thus D4 = 293.665 Hz, chosen for the least deviation of diatonic notes from the international standard. Other reference pitches are acceptable. 

Despite the limitations of the instruments, players must try their best to accurately pitch each note without compromising tone quality.
