About Marky & Glen

Cousins and good friends, Mark is an Oakland-based singer/songwriter and Glen is a Philippine-based pianist/composter – both making music from thousands of miles apart. Growing up together in Bacolod, Marky & Glen were heavily influenced by 90s rock bands like Bon Jovi, White Lion, and Mr. Big. Spending countless hours in the studio, Marky & Glen originally began in the band: The CIA. When time isn`t short, I like to produce songs in all kinds of genres. Already as a child, I was close to the music, and in my youth, I produced music with Cubase. At that time I was still passionate about playing the piano. As a young adult, I was a pianist in an improvisation theater. Being close to the music, still helps me a lot in my work as a mastering engineer. However, I rarely get to produce. Lately, I am more enthusiastic about my own music again and am gratefull about every longer episode in my life, where I can focus on creating some new songs.
