With house and techno appearing on the radars of a lot more people in recent years, many producers have pushed themselves beyond conventional boundaries to stand out amongst the crowd. Belgian producer Locked Groove has definitely achieved this. He has a skill that sees him create dark and moody techno one minute, while still managing a more light hearted house cut with the same level of skill and intricacy that always packs a punch. Although sometimes industrial sounding, his music has undeniable depth, making his music much more intriguing. His latest release on Hotflush saw him prove himself once more as he teamed up with Italian house and techno duo Mind Against on two class cuts, and we're therefore super excited to have him step into the mix for i-D.
