Die Electro Swing Elite, kurz ESE, startete im Sommer 2013 den ersten Teil der B2B DJ-Mix-Reihe und kurz darauf folgte auch schon der Elite-Mix Volume 2. Gemixt werden Tracks aus dem Genre Electro Swing, die jeweils von mehreren selektierten und renommierten DJ’s, mit internationalem Format, zu einem gesamten Set fusioniert werden, soweit das Konzept. Die bisherigen Erfolge können sich sehen und hören lassen, so Phos Toni, Organisator, selbst DJ und Vater der ESE-Mixe. Die Soundcloud Plays, Comments und Likes sprechen da eine sehr eindeutige Sprache! Electro Swing ist mittlerweile ein sehr stabiles Genre, mit einer großen nationalen und internationalen Szene. Das Publikum ist breit gefächert, es wird häufig auf authentisches Outfit Wert gelegt und leidenschaftliche Dekos ebnen die unvergesslichen Parties, mit Flair und Atmosphäre. So kehren die rebellischen 20er Jahre, gemischt mit dem heutigen musikalischen Zeitgeist wieder zurück in die Clubs! Für den 3. Teil der ESE Serie haben sich Phos Toni und Wolfgang Lohr zusammen getan und als Grundlage für den DJ-Mix eine Compilation mit ausschließlich exklusiven Tracks, nur für den Sampler produziert, zusammengestellt. Mit Ton liebt Klang (Hamburg) hat sich schnell ein attraktives Label gefunden, welches die Compilation sowohl Digital, als auch auf Vinyl veröffentlichen wird. 18 exklusive Electro Swing Tracks sind das Resultat, von Künstlern die auch in anderen Genres sehr erfolgreich sind. The first release is dedicated to a seal, endangered by the destruction of his habitat, threatened with exctinction. Music producer niju has compiled an EP with blazing Deep House and due remixes. The original track “Würze im Schnee” emphasises the driving flow of melody paired with an overwhelming synthesizer. Rolling bass lines, succintly sharp heads and forceful kicks face Stuttgart whizkid Niklas Ibach. His remix develops a very own style and an impressive combination of melody and bass line – the next trndmusik premiere. Also, music duo etwas anders throws in their version. Florian Meindl is a multi-talented and multi-faceted artist, who is renowned for his technical
prowess.
Producing for over fourteen years, Florian has become known for his deep, grooving powerful
techno. His productions are characterised by his love of analog, which represent his true signature
sound.
2006 saw the inception of Florian’s label FLASH Recordings. The label showcases Florian’s musical
vision, reflects his taste and gives him tracks for his DJ Mixes. A platform for artists that Florian
likes, FLASH has had over 130 releases already including tracks from Heron, Electric Rescue, Jamie
Anderson, Alignment, Hans Bouffmyhre & Avgusto.
In May 2015 Florian released his second solo album ‘Collide’ to critical acclaim. The album was
clearly influenced by Florian’s transition from producing almost entirely digitally for thirteen years
to recording mainly analog jamming sessions and editing the end results after on the computer. The
technical aspect is integral to Florian’s musical journey that he takes the listener on. His talent lies
in enabling the machines to speak and groove, to connect with them and create sounds and
patterns.
In addition to solo releases and numerous collaborations with international artists, and remixing the
likes of Hot Chip & Royksopp, Florian is busy with his sound design brand Riemann Kollektion and
Riemann Modular which is his new studio gear company specializing in Eurorack Modules.
As a DJ, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, Florian has over the years established
an impressive producing base for himself in his Berlin based Riverside Studio complex with an
exciting hardware set up including Modular Systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic
machines like Roland 909.
After fourteen years of international performances and production, Florian has developed a special
connection with his analog equipment, letting them speak for him in music where words just aren’t
possible. His third album will be released in February 2017 in combination with a worldwide full
analog live act tour.
