A Day In The Sun Freude Am Hören

Lars Christian Müller, von guten Freunden kurz und knapp Lars-Christian genannt, bedarf keiner ausgedehnten Vorstellung. Kaum ein anderer DJ ist so eng mit der Distillery verbunden wie er. Über zwei Dekaden hat Lars die Tanzschuhe unzähliger Gäste zum Qualmen gebracht. Mit Unterstützung seiner langjährigen Weggefährten Andres Eckhardt und Chris Manura wurde ihm die große Ehre zu Teil das (diesmal wirklich) letzte Set in der Distillery zu spielen. Viele Tränchen flossen zum Abschied. Nach mehreren Soft-Closings ist es schlussendlich wirklich passiert. Unser heißgeliebtes Wohnzimmer schließt seine Pforten. Zumindest an altbekannter Stelle. Eine neue Heimat ist glückerweise bereits gefunden. In der alten Messhalle 7 wird es zeitnah weitergehen. Damit bis dahin niemand unter Lars-Entzug leiden muss, haben wir Nägel mit Köpfen gemacht, und ihn gebeten unseren Rab8itHoLE-Podcast 002 abzumischen.

3AM - is my weekly playtime during my residency at OXA Beach. 3AM marks the moment when those who came for entertainment begin to leave, and the ones who came for the music choose to stay. 3AM is the time when I can let myself go and play whatever I feel like.

This set was recorded on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. I was playing from 3 AM to 5 AM.  I had a lot of fun, starting with some Indie Dance, transitioning into Progressive House, Melodic Techno, and even some Tech House towards the end. What a nice journey!
