This week we Have The R Industry!
 It all started 17 years ago from his PC at home in Portugal – mixing for his best friends.

The R Industry continued honing his ear between London and Portugal, moving through different types of electronic music – Deep House, Progressive House and Techno – filtering sound through his heart – “always expect the unexpected with every mix filled with emotion and feeling.”

Years have passed and his passion for music and new world sounds, voices, rhythms and beats has allowed him to integrate and assimilate to create truly unique soundscapes and techniques.

The R Industry dramatic intros, synths, melodies and groovy beats have contributed to his first participation in 2017’s Burn Residency Ibiza Competition in Lisbon which took him to a place in the Top 5 representing Portugal.

With roots firmly planted in Techno, The R Industry continuous playing at many private events and he remains “Just a Techno lover who loves Techno so much and putting some tracks together”.

Heute begrüßen wir den DJ und Produzenten Thommes Jay bei uns. Auf sich aufmerksam machte Thommes zuletzt mit zwei starken Releases bei Affenkäfig Records. Sein aktueller Track CHOIRS, ebenfalls auf Affenkäfig Records, schaffte es bis auf #45 in den Top100 sowie #13 in den Hype Charts. Er veröffentlichte bereits auf weiteren Labels, wie seiner Homebase Studio3000 Records oder TCP Records, aber auch international auf Bully Beatz Records. Hinter den Decks stand er bereits im Butan (Wuppertal), der Elektroküche (Köln) oder dem Exhaus (Trier) um nur ein paar zu nennen. Wir wünschen ihm alles Gute auf seinem weiteren Weg.

I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.

Florian betrat 2016 die Welt der elektronischen Musik und war von Anfang an fasziniert. Sein Interesse und seine Leidenschaft für dieses Genre wuchsen schnell und nach zwei Jahren beschloss er, selbst Platten aufzulegen.

Sein erster Auftritt fand auf der Sound Of Butan in Butan Wuppertal statt, einer sehr bekannten Veranstaltung und einem renommierten Club in Deutschland. Nur eine Woche später hatte er bereits seinen zweiten Auftritt im Paysclub (Taltakt) in Wuppertal, bei dem er zum Resident-DJ wurde. Dieser Erfolg war ein großer Schritt nach vorne für seine Karriere.

Florians Talent blieb nicht unbemerkt, und er begann in vielen namhaften Clubs aufzulegen. Zu seinen Auftrittsorten gehören unter anderem Butan (Wuppertal), Langer Tisch (Wuppertal Open Air), Techno Castle (Solingen), Kesselhaus (Wipperfürth), Ibiza Club (Bottrop), Pays Club (Wuppertal), Red Cat Lounge (Köln), Tiefgang (Hannover), 102 (Neuss), Stilvoll (Neuss), Zimmermanns (Köln), Empire (Remscheid), U-Club (Wuppertal), House Park Festival (Remscheid), Pirates Boo (Dortmund) , Westend Club (Essen) , Bollwerk Club (Köln) , Rush Hour (Dortmund), Odonien (Köln) 2RaumClub (Bremen) .


In diesen Clubs hatte Florian die Gelegenheit, mit bekannten Künstlern wie Lukas Freudenberger, Tommy Libera, Fappe&Bru, Boho & Rachel Raw, Nathalie DeBorah, Stephan Fischer, Kerstin Eden, Gabriel Ananda, Heisenberg, Hidden Empire, Patrik Berg, BEC, Dominik Eulberg Township Rebellion , Ian Crank , Mark Vision, Anahit Vardanyan und Thommes Jay  zusammenzuarbeiten. 

Florians Stil ist geprägt von treibendem, melodischem Techno. Er versteht es, die Menschen mit seiner Musik zu begeistern und sie auf eine mitreißende Reise zu nehmen.

Florian ist ein aufstrebender Künstler, der mit seinem Talent und seiner Leidenschaft für elektronische Musik eine vielversprechende Karriere vor sich hat. Seine Energie und sein Engagement machen ihn zu einem DJ, auf den man definitiv achten sollte.
