Butcher & the Florist is an electro-pop duo that have a deep connection with each other, they are all about writing songs that feel personal, direct and spontaneous with just a hint of rock n’ roll. The music is a highly addictive blend of dark-noir synths, trap beats, and indelible pop hooks. Their debut single, Ordinary Love, is a club-ready dance track set for release in early 2019, followed by the cold-blooded feminist banger, Cruel. Their influences range from industrial to indie and alt-pop, often tipping their hat off to artists like Ellie Goulding, Halsey, and Phantogram, only to mention a few. Street talk has it that these two could well be the next great electronic act out of Chicago.
