We first heard "Rove", by Flatline at an underground bush doof somewhere in the South Island of New Zealand / Aoteatroa ... 'Flatline' were playing straight after the TRUTH set and opened with this absolute monster of a track. After speaking to the trio, we had to sign the track for the DDD Subscriber series. Chatting to the lads behind the music we were told that the intro was "way too long", to which the answer of course was "let's release 2 versions, a long and a short edition". The Extended Mix is the perfect intro for a set, if you're trying to find one! The 'Club Mix' is perfect to drop mid-set if you're not wanting to include as big a build into your transitions!
Since then this track has appeared in a lot of TRUTH sets and it's still one of our favourites! We're very excited for you to have it in your arsenal, Subscriber crew!

Set for release the day of DDD’s groundbreaking takeover at Denver’s Mission Ballroom - across the three tracks, New Zealand’s bass wizards take you on a mythical journey from the sublime to the ridiculous - pushing the fabric of dubstep’s possibilities, before reality sets back in with a bang.  Working with long-time collaborator, Lelijveld, EP opener Empty is a sublime piece of melancholic beauty that doesn’t hold back when the drops flex - with stunning vocal refrains making way for savage synth lines across triplet percussive patterns. Next comes the eponymous Woden, the powerful norse god and ‘leader of the possessed’. Hellbent on soundsystem destruction, the heavy wubs return with devastating effect to fire off at any being in range.  EP closer Narwhal is as cold as the toothed whale’s arctic ocean habitat - as delayed snares fire off like the disintegrating ice it passes as it migrates to warmer climes, with trippy arpeggios accompanying the threatening low frequencies.  Woden’s Day has a new date. 13th September.
