When browsing the diverse range of talent on Soundcloud there are some that force you to stop whatever you're doing to completely immerse yourself in the music. This was the case when we first heard the work of 'su na', a producer from San Francisco, who also happens to be as technically adept at Ableton as he is creative. Alexander Lewis is a musician/producer based in New York in the U.S. His music is a fusion of different styles including a strong jazz influence (his musical background)and future hip hop and bass music. We've been keeping a close eye on his progress over the last few months and now we're excited to bring you 'Seasons'. The first TapeTrack in our fortnightly series.

For this volume, we're excited to introduce one of our favourite emerging artists on the cloud right now, A.J., a young Dutch producer who specialises in a classic genre and style of hip hop we endearingly refer to as G-Funk. That's not to undermine his diversity (just take a look at his constantly growing catalogue right now). A.J.'s combination of 90s west coast G-Funk, Future beat music and 70s disco generates something fresh, unique and irresistibly groovy. 

Visions is a project that's built with deep drums and slap bass grooves, smothered with warm, funky and colourful synths in psychedelic soundscapes. Throw this one on at a party tonight. Let's take it back to the old school.
