Regardless of what people tell you everybody needs a little groove in their life from time to time so for this weeks podcast we secured the services of our go to guy when we’re looking for our house equivalent of our five a day: Martin Landsky. Needing little introduction we’ve long been fans of Martin both as a producer and a DJ. 

Hailing from Hamburg, Martin has been moving crowds for almost three decades, touring the globe and rocking some of the world’s best parties – with everywhere from Berlin to Brooklyn housing his irrepressible talents. Not content with smashing it as both in the DJ booth and the studio he’s also turned his hand distribution and running a label, working for Container Distribution and later for Word And Sound – one of the world’s largest distributers – whilst helming his own label, Effortil Records. Having just reprised his with association with Poker Flat for the release of his new EP 'Da Geh Bo’ (we’ve got the three track effort both in our heads and on our playlists) we thought the time was right for him take the reins on our podcast series. We all see the space race. A kind of cold war to see who can put one more satellite or who can get to Mars first.
With this theme we bring In Space to life. An original track by Pepe Mateos loaded with elements that give us a space atmosphere. The voice takes us to another universe through a journey full of snares and a usual rolling bass.
Representing on this occasion the astronauts (in this case producers) from 4 countries. Spain, Germany, Croatia and Colombia. United in this universe called music. that knows no borders...

We are lucky and pleased to have on board this three new Flow-ers and his visions. Norman Weber (Luna City Express) with his old school Berliner funky vibe. Nothing to say about a real reference in house music worldwide. An emblematic DJ who cooks a sexy remix in which the pads subject us to a trip with small strokes of funny words from the main voice and breaks. A perfect deep house vision of "In Space".

In a deep house tone, maybe with a more serious line but also sexy are the sounds of Edgar Peng's remix. One of the thinking heads in Golden Gate (Berlin). A veteran of rhythm and groove. A different perception of bass and groove makes this remix a perfect element for a more inspiring set.
Warm chords and leads gathered in a fat kick and giving an ambient feeling of this "In space".

Matheo Velez closes this release and gives a full turn to the original. A remix more focused on the room with rhythms that remind us of rolan 909 and 808. Tensions and toms that give a lot of strength, dynamism, and make this remix resource for any room.
