Only half way through but enjoying this prog-laden journey brother

Burning Man was nothing like I wanted it to be. All facts pointing it wasn’t my time to be there. No luck with tickets, close friends who would usually push me giving up, expensive and long flights.. etc. 
Facts aside, came to me an inner-voice so powerful I couldn’t help but to listen to it, and by August I finally started to plan. Less than a month to go, no tickets, no camp or tent or RV.. By that time it was also way too late to join most of the line-ups. I started to act as everything was set and done anyways: got my flights, spread the word, and slowly the stars started to align.

When at the “Burning Man that I wanted”, I didn’t see the friends I planned to see, I didn’t play the places I thought I could, I didn’t catch most of the events I wanted to. I just had the Burning Man that I needed, and it was a wild and freaking dusty one!!! Played only a few and special sets, had more time to explore amazing art, meet new beings, tighten up old friendships or get lost in the dust!

We were all there for a reason. In the immediate sense to see the “burning of the man”: a symbol of structure and government and judgment. And when the fire show started, all I could hear was exclamations of anger and pure wonder. In a grander sense, however, we were all there to expand our views, bodies, minds, and spirits, exploding like the flames in front of us into a rebirth!

What I gained from this experience was a greater understanding of the power of the collective, and that things happen exactly how they are supposed to. To trust the process and work together. Everyone in that desert did their part to build the city, to provide an experience for each soul that passed by. In this moment of fire and destruction, we used our power as one to build an energy field filled with creativity, love, and compassion.

Amr Hachicho - known under his recording alias A.M.R - is an electronic music producer & audio engineer from Qatar. His drink of choice is an Espresso!

Amr began his journey into the world of electronic music during his early teens, experimenting with different styles of dance music in his bedroom studio. Coming from a musically inclined family, music has always played a big part in his life.

Even at a young age, Amr was constantly drawn to electronic music for its captivating and emotive melodies. As A.M.R he made his debut in 2008, publishing his first major single with Enhanced Recordings, gaining him popularity and support from some of the leading Trance DJs and producers from around the world, including Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Tiësto.

In 2018, A.M.R took on a new challenge and made his first appearance into the Deep & Progressive scene with the EP Orchids, followed by Silver Lining & Pale Blue, released on Monstercat Silk. A unique blend of tones and instruments received exceptional responses, sparking a new path for this artist. Several of A.M.R’s singles are in regular rotation on SiriusXM Chill, including "Fell Out Of Love" with Brandon Mignacca. In 2020 he debuted his first artist album A Place For Everything. A compilation of familiar and fresh sounds full of color, each track taking the listener on a musical experience. Later that year, he produced a guest mix for Above & Beyond's acclaimed "Group Therapy" radio show.

A.M.R continues his pursuit in the realm of electronic music, finding new and innovative ways of reaching his audience, but keeping his signature sound at the core of each track.

Over the last few years I’ve found a lot of solace in the 333 sessions, so It’s a been a dream come true to be able to contribute to its legacy.

With this in mind, I wanted to explore the concept of dreams as a theme in this mix. The waking dream of the collective we unknowingly bring to reality. The dreams as individuals we hope and strive for and the lucid waking dream we experience daily.

I looked for music in my collection that could help me create a narrative around the illusive and mystical nature of our unconscious lives and deepest imaginations.

Stylistically, this mix is quite emotional and not without it’s dark corners. It traverses a few genres along the way and I’ve tried to underpin it with a deep and constant groove to see it through.

I hope you enjoy my little odyssey as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.

In preparation for this 333 mix I spent time making a tracklist varying in genre’s with some major inspirations across my time as a DJ. Songs that stuck with me and really moved me as an artist have been included throughout, intermingled with a progressive journey featuring some originals aswell. It was great being given the opportunity to be able to push outside the boundaries of a standard Australian set time and explore what I would do when I play for over three hours somewhere. I approached it in this manner and recorded it in one take with one recording. I have poured myself into this mix and presented it unaltered as a raw expression of my abilities . 
This set starts at 140 bpm and ends at 110 so it is sure to take you on a journey no matter the space you are listening to it in.

How many of us look at the time and it is always 22:22 or 11:11 and so on? For some people, it doesn’t mean anything and they call it a simple coincidence, but for others like me, or other ‘Flow-ers' it means that you are at the right place, merging with the flow of life or that someone is thinking of you! I locked myself up for this 3:33:33.33.33 sets (yes it’s all about details)standing in front of my CDs, and CDJs, and started recording this set. It all started with a joint and ended up in a disco-ish party passing through some weird, joyful and acid-ish flows. This set is a good representation of what I love to play depending on the gigs. A wide range of carefully selected music and a lot of upcoming tracks, collabs, edits and remixes produced over these last two crazy years!
